Bubba

Bubba ran away from his clan when he was very young, horrified after seeing his first raid. Being a bugbear, though, Bubba had always had trouble fitting in among non-goblin societies (and really, its not like the goblins were all that eager to have him either). He spent most of his life working a farm owned by a kindly tiefling woman, as she understood what it was like to be so quickly judged by people for heritage you can't control. He managed to avoid most trouble, though it tended to follow him eventually. 

As Bubba became a young man, a brutal tyrant came to rule over the lands of his farm and the other farms and towns around it. He knew to keep his nose down, as he'd finally gotten an apprenticeship in a local smithy, but there was only so much he could stand. When you're beginning to prefer goblin raids over the crownsguard, it's probably time to pack up. He rallied the local farmers, famously working day and night for a week straight to arm them. Their revolution was mostly successful, chasing the corrupt lord and his dirty crownsguard out of the area, but the filth returned with a vengeance. He burned fields and enlisted magic users to curse many a villager. The villagers turned on him, blaming him for the retaliation. He fled and has been on the run ever since, ashamed of his failure and for fear of his life.
