Lair

He keeps her cards close to his chest. Very charming and talks a lot in conversation at times but reveals very little.

Dark pinkish-red skin, large curved horns, long dark purple hair, yellow-white eyes, and commonly wearing feminine clothes and black lipstick and light makeup.

Born to a noblewoman & nobleman and damning evidence of fiendish lineage, Lair was quickly taken out the back and given to a traveling troupe, along with a bribe of 50 gold to never speak of where he hailed from. He grew up among the troupe and found in it a kind and supportive (though perhaps not law-abiding) family.

His main caretaker was the tiefling sorcerer (stage name: Valxakis, real name: Comfort) who aspired to give him a loving environment he never could find as a child. By the time Lair was 18, Comfort died of natural causes and Lair left the troupe to carve out a place for himself in a larger inland city with a lot of nobles, and a lot of wealth.

He became a well known performer in his own right; a skillful acrobat with a quick tongue and a surprising penchant for the tuba. Although he knew he was a man in his heart, he was assumed to be a woman by many because of his long hair and body shape. He used this to his advantage whenever possible.

He started moving in richer circles and entertaining nobles, going by the stage name Seiriphi and presenting very femininely to get the most profit off of the scam. A noble by the name of Royce Lakewood (a recent widower) took interest in his act. Lair manipulated Lakewood into taking him as his paramour.

He lived as Lakewood's kept man for two years, lounging in luxury and attention, until he got bored of the same scenery and of the same man and of Lakewood himself. Lakewood died under mysterious circumstances (thought it's rumored his death was a political move due to the farmers revolting under his estate) and "Seiriphi" left the estate with a large chunk of the will to go "find himself" and "grieve his loss."

Lair returned briefly to performing to revive his name and now travels anywhere he thinks to go in search of fun and profit. He's spent a lot of the Lakewood will at this point, and either way he's always on the lookout for more money to line his pockets. His goal is to amass enough money and reputation to live in luxury in a grand estate and be untouched by any because they wouldn't dare to challenge such a ruthless foe.
