The charismatic leader of The Silk Brawlers, Oskar spends his free time with his friends down in the slums getting into trouble. He often speaks to shock and offend, and doesn't care for those he deems less important than himself (which is pretty much everybody.) Oskar has the overwhelming urge to control the world around him and is a self-proclaimed hedonist, but despite his commitment to his personal philosophy Oskar is rather naive and doesn't fully understand the consequences of what he is preaching.

Oskar grew up in a strict family, his father was renown in the medical community for his advancements in the use of Acquired magic in surgery and expected his son to follow in his footsteps and become a doctor. Oskar was constantly held to a high standard and was taught to respect authority for fear of punishment. To fight back against this he started to surround himself with people his parents didn't approve of and indulged himself whatever he pleased. He took pride in sneaking out with his friends and getting drunk and cared little for those who got caught in the fights he would start. Despite his overwhelming cockiness, he spoke with wit and intellect and many of his peers began to fall for him and his theories. It didn't take long for a club of sorts to form around him that took the name The Silk Brawlers Gang (as the group saw themselves comparable to the street gangs in the slums they would frequent) The group gained notoriety in newspapers for accounts of their violent attacks though many of the reports have been greatly exaggerated.
