Callisto does not know how he ended up in this world, let alone Earth. He awoke one day with no memory or knowledge of where he came from or who he truly was. He had a vague understanding that he was not like the other inhabitants of this world and because of that, he began to isolate himself and keep himself hidden from the world. He discovered the diverse world of plants and animals, living things that did not look at him differently or were not quick to be frightened away. He kept himself busy and occupied with growing plants and keeping them and helping them thrive. The more challenging the upkeep, the more he tried and tended to them. He began to keep herbs and other plants that he could use to make teas and medicine that humans became aware of and often came to his home in search of these things. As the years went on, he eventually set up an apothecary and learned to keep his appearance masked as best as he could so as not to frighten his customers away.

Callisto grows many plants, some of which have not been seen for centuries. He has kept old species alive, cultivating them and tending to them as if they were his own children. Herbs, flowers, even a few plants that are used in making spices are kept with the utmost care. A room full of plants eventually had turned into a greenhouse, fluorishing in a myriad of colors, sights and smells. Not all plants could be kept in the same environment, so the land he inhabits grew to contain many different places to grow different plants.

Callisto's plant keeping has attracted many species of animals. Birds, mammals, reptiles of all shapes and sizes have come to make their home in his gardens. Though he tries his best to keep things from eating his plants, he knows that other creatures need to sustain themselves as well. Keeping his plants healthy, keep the denizes of this realm heathly and sustained as well.
