The edgy musician with interest for macabre things
Originally a Liverpudlian art school graduate, Sybil's moved to London few years ago, with her best friend and few bold ambitions by her side. A new city gave her more freedom as she could finally take a breath away from her overwhelmingly loving family, and more opportunities to her as an aspiring musician. And just maybe it also gave her a chance to run away from memories, associated with her hometown. Which was appreciated. She works as a mortician at her aunt's funeral home, has recently left her friend's punk rock band The Miserable Fuckups and founded her own darkwave band The Hellhounds. The name is not very darkwave-typical, you might think, but it was her angsty teen dream to name her project this way someday. Not that she went to far from her angsty teen stage anyway, both in tastes and her mindset. And ough she has sooo many personal shit to sort through.
Design notes
● Build notes: 180 cm | 5' 11, damn tall, yet not *lean*. She's rather bulky and buff. Has a horrible posture and stoops a lot.
● A relatively pale skin tone.
● Facial notes: Diamond facial shape, aquiline nose, average, often frowned eyebrows. Very prominent eyebags. Her eyes are dark brown, almost black-looking, unless she wears her various cool edgy contacts.
● Piercing: Ear piercing of any design but plugs is optional, eyebrows and cheeks piercing is Not optional!
● Scars: Nothing significant, may have random scratches.
● Hair: Of straight texture, usually either a messy mohawk or messy mullet-looking something with bangs combed back. Shaves her temples, although their length may vary (she doesn't care enough to keep them trimmed nicely all of the time, y'know. Thus, they look a bit more fluffy sometimes). She dyes her hair blue/gray-ish, pink and sometimes purple, the exact shade may vary. Her black hair roots are often visible.
● Clothing style: She likes to look sharp, dangerous and tough. Often dressing all-black and wears 'cool' accessories, often the spiked ones. Her main inspirations are punk/trad goth/somewhat emo styles. Definitely enjoys wearing her fave bands T-shirts. May wear skirts sometimes, but would never wear a dress if she has a choice.
● Paints her nails black often, barely uses any make-up except occasional dramatic dark eyeliners and just maybe a dark lipstick.
● Impression: Serious, gloomy or annoyed, even is she doesn't mean any of these. It's her resting face expression..Has a very heavy gaze. Why diz punk so mad.
● Feel free to draw her with body hair and generally not-perfect skin if it fits your artstyle!
● There's no need to colorpick from her references, just try to keep the approximate colors/shades ratio recognizable and you cool.

Light or moderate gore is allowed, feel free to place her in dangerous situations, just avoid fatal injuries like losing body parts and breaking bones. I'm also okay with stylized gore [candy/fruit/flower and neon blood kind of things]

Colors and style experiments, including light design simplification, alternative palettes or anything like this, just make sure you keep her recognizable. I'm absolutely cool with eyestrain, glitches and any post-correction effects, go ham!
In general, well, you have artistic freedom until you conflict with already written information! I'm really curious to see your headcanons unless it doesn't cross her canonical lore!

It depends
I'm really *not* into pride flag-centric art. I don't mind respective pride flags being included as idk patches/pins on her clothes, being overall small like colored heart or smth or being used as overall palettes for drawing if you feel like it, but pride avatars or the whole background being pride flag image is not really my cup of tea.
AUs — I'm 100% cool with references to these media, XX century aus and survival stuff like zombie apocalypse aus maybe. Other aus/crossovers/etc are 'better ask first' (not if we're pals though, have fun however you want if we know each other <з)
Suggestive stuff is cool as a part of ship art with characters I pair her with [mentioned as her current/ex partners or just in ‘yeah you can ship them’ kind of context], as for bunny suits and stuff like that or 'sexual' posing
I'm only okay with shipping our OCs if we know each other and I'd still prefer to be asked about it beforehand, k?

Hatespeech/hateful topics are, probably, Very obvious thing, but. Still. And please please don't use slurs towards my ocs/in art for me in general, no matter how reclaimed they seem to be to you [i count words like slut/whore as well and I won't elaborate].
Please try your best to avoid major design mistakes and drawing obviously out of character things — stylization is fine, though, I'm talking about drastic change of body type or skin tone, hair texture, erasing notable facial features and so on. Just read the design notes, I’ve mentioned all the important things to keep in mind there.
Overall, don't erase characters’ identity. Don't change gender, race (and species in general, unless I specifically asked for it) and sexuality of the character.

Theo
bandmate / best friend / girlfriend
Sybil didn't want Theo in her band at first. She was still pissed off with their then-bassist leaving them right before the tour, and she was generally very skeptical about Theo's attitude and skill. But she turned out to be okay, she had to admit that. Sybil warmed up to her rather quickly. Nothing surprising about that, some people are just naturally very...Likable? Theo definitely is.
Anyways, they bonded chaotically and befriended very soon, hanging out together almost all of the time from some plot point. They sure had a lot of shitty movie marathons. Syb freaked out when she's caught herself on some unnecessary feelings towards her best friend she really didn't want to lose with fucking shit up (= the only friends to lovers romance pattern she knew). So she attempted a very stupid and Not Nice attempt to distance herself from, like, almost all of her friends (except Ash and Adri maybe), and by proxy with Theo.
They've managed to actually discuss stuff and they're partners in current timeline, but Sybil brain is still very odd about it sometimes. Sybil loves Theo to death and is maybe a bit dramatic about it. «You're basically the best, you know.»
Ash
younger brother / bandmate
Ash is her little brother, maybe two years younger than Sybil. He was her best friend for all her life and she's extremely attached to him. If anyone would dare to hurt her brother, she would be the one to bury this person for sure. Although he is a younger sibling, it's Ash who's sort of been a good example for his elder sister, considering his chill attitude and brilliant self-conrol skills. She's endlessly proud with him.
Adri
best friend / former bandmate
The fashionable prick is her dearest best friend since their Liverpool timeline [art school arc specifically, both were young adult when they first met]. She liked hanging out with him and her little bro back then, barely having [or needing] any other friends back then, Adri was her colfidant of sorts and the person she could always rely on. They moved to London together, following some of their mutual friends example, and were dormmates for a couple of years. Adri was always more sociable and quick at making decisions in their duo, so he was the one to drag both of them into his pal's band, knowing how passionate Sybil was about music for all her life.
They distanced themselves from each other a bit in last few years, after Sybil left the Fucked ups. For a several inner reasons none of them managed to talk about properly (Sybil shuts down on every possible uncomfortable thing or criticism from Adri, Adri is extremely vulnerable and protective about Morty, conflict with whom is one of the main reasons of Sybil's drifting apart). They still care about each other deeply and spend time together, but less often than they used to. She kinda misses him.
Wallace
best friend / colleague
Wallace was supposed to be her tattoo master but Sybil really overestimated herself back then and almost passed out because of her panic. Wallace reassured her that it was fine and word for word the two struck up a conversation, the rest is history. They're currently good friends and work together, as Wallace is The Hellhound's manager. She's an inspiration of sorts for Sybil. And she might or might not have a little crush on her for some time.

The Hellhound's audio engineer and music producer, who she met with Wallace's help. She respects his vision and can't not admit that he is Very talented. They're on good terms, despite butting heads time to time over clashing opinions on things and their character clashing as well, sometimes (moody working class vs whimsical capital rich kid)
Ian
pal / bandmate
Although they're probably less close with him when with other bandmated, her opinion on Ian is exclusively positive. He's a great keyboardist and he's *good* with the synth. Also he's just nice. And remarkably relaxed in any situation.
Dime
pal / ex bandmate
The Fuckup's frontman is fine. He's a nice guy to hang out with, always optimistic and relaxed, although it Did annoy her occasionaly at some point, but not much. They've never been very close, but they stay on good terms for sure.
Kyla
acquaintance / strained relationships
Her former bandmate for a short period of time who decided to quite when she expected it the least and Sybil took it more personal when she probably should have. But that doesn't matter, they probably won't cross their ways anyway- Wait, what do you mean she's dating Asher.
Vasco
strained relationships
Look, she admits her biases are unfair. Still, she can't do anything about her attitude for now. It isn't even about the girl herself, Vasco personally is probably okay. But it really hurt her how soon the guys managed to find a new drummer, and, yeah, fine, a good drummer. She hates to feel so easy to replaced. She warm up to her, eventually, but prefers to avoid contacts with her if she can in current timeline.
Morty
annoyance / rival
She doesn't understand why her friends even like him so much, like. He's just an annoying vain show-off, how can't anyone see? Rehearsals with the Fuckups used to be her favorite thing ever, until one day he appeared from nowhere and decided to tag along and everyone went 'yeah morty's so fun and cool love this dude' for some reason? Every single thing he says or does pissed her off immediately and although she understands the bastard ragebaits her intentionally, she can't just ignore it. Not after he enroaches on her drums and everyone was like augh Syb you're overreacting his nose is bleeding please stooop. Screw him, really. If the band chooses him over ther damn bandmate, well, fine, she will accept their ridiculous choice.
