Nereus (nicknamed Nerry by his friends) is a headstrong individual. He's very into the vampiric aesthetic, having convinced himself he was a vampire squid in the past.
Over the past couple years, he has matured, albeit slightly. He's not as braggy as he was in the past, and makes more active efforts to show affection and give recognition to those around him. He and Orsin are dating, with open communication being an important quality to their relationship.
His hobbies are researching the occult (shared with Waylon), wine tasting, calligraphy (skilled), and cooking (still learning). He enjoys taking trips with Orsin to Arowana Mall and frequents specific cafes and shops. He wishes to visit Waylon in Splatsville sometime soon but Waylon has a busy schedule, so they keep up over the internet.

- He and Orsin were made in part due to polls that I and vio ran on our twitters deciding character traits of a new oc.
- He used to be clumsier and louder but has since grown up a little bit.
Nerry and Kani are brothers, having grown up to parents who ended up divorcing when they were around middle school age. Kani went with their father and Nerry with their mother, and despite it being turbulent before, they have a distant but pleasant relationship nowadays online.
He offers calligraphy and artistic freelancing to pay for an apartment near Inkblot Art Academy, where he wants to start attending classes. Waylon, a friend and roommate for a while, joined his parents at the archaeology dig in Splatsville. Nerry now rooms with Orsin, and they are currently dating.
