Night

The unintentional product of a magic experiment to create an unlimited energy source, it is unclear where his consciousness came from, but there is no denying that he is sentient and has a mind of his own. Night usually assumes the form of a bipedal wolf – tall, muscular, and gruff. However, at times he assumes the form of a burly feral wolf.  His fur is dark purple, and he emits a similarly-colored dark energy wherever he goes. His eyes are completely red and glow. His voice is deep and reverberating, and he can speak regardless of what form he's in.

Cold and harsh, he values intellect over sentimentality, and strength above all else. When he was first “born,” his instincts were to attack and destroy, which resulted in a rather unfortunate past marred with violence and bloodshed. However, since his alliance with a human named Margaret, he has ceased rampaging and is calmer now, although he is still known to be ruthless on the battlefield. He has retained some memories belonging to the professor who created him, as well as a thirst for knowledge; the memories have a tendency to sneak up on him, and he is often surprised by the random bookish information he knows. Night still has a hard time grasping emotion, and Margaret often has to help explain it to him.

On the battlefield, Night's claws are a fearsome weapon, and he wields his heavy greatsword with frightening ease. As a creature of energy, he isn't burdened by the weaknesses of the body. Despite his bulky figure, he can move with frightening speed and strength without tiring easily. He is stronger in his bipedal form, but swifter as his feral form.

Night would deny fearing anything, but he fears large bodies of water, and refuses swimming.
