AMBITIOUS / PARANOID / DILIGENT/

A closed off, charismatic prodigy coming from Center Star's top academy hero course, specializing in his plant magic. 

He's quite the hard-worker, living life a little too fast.

"Uh... I think I broke it."

Vinny is an overachiever who worries a lot. He's a magazine cover face, pretty and charismatic. He often worries about proving himself. This is partially because being wingless meant he was stigmatized as a kid, expected to do worse than all of the other kids. His parents, ashamed of the fact that Vinny didn't get the wing genes (and also being strict in general,) forced very high expectations onto him. This lead him to work infinitely harder, even if he has the capacity and self awareness to work smarter instead. He always did the extra work, and never cheated once, because that meant he'd prove himself. He still gets a rush of dopamine any time he sees his face on the cover of something, thinking about how proud his parents and teachers would be. This is a habit that he slowly works out of.

 He gets paranoid and bothered easily, suffering from nightmares the most out of the four. Holy is he bad at taking his anxiety meds. He and Crow went to hero school together in the same class, allowing them to thrive and remain at the top together. Vinny liked Crow so much because they understood each other's situations very deeply and ended up very similar, although Vinny has always worried for Crow and how secretive he is about his family life. They've known each other for almost 20 years now... and they're still fucking pining.
 
Vinny has always found an escape in the outdoors--native species have always been his favorite thing to study, particularly when he's having a harder time. As an adult, he likes to plant native species and spend plenty time funding the maintaining of the environment.

Vinny usually fights with primarily magic, using a dagger or gem as a catalyst for enchantments. If there's one weapon he's good at, though, it's a sword. He and Crow have spent far too many hours sword fighting.
