Profile
Vinca
"Will you be my servant for the day?"
She is a goddess so clueless it is shocking, expecting the world to bend to her will. She is confident that mortals exist solely to appease her every whim. She speaks softly, but her requests can be jarringly demanding. She invests little time in studies, hoping to be pampered for simply existing.
Raised on a berry farm in Norway with 11 siblings, Vinca was praised from birth for her divine status, leaving her with no real sense of self-awareness or empathy toward mortals. She has a legion of mortal devotees she calls “followers,” yet invests minimal effort building genuine relationships with gods or humans. Her worldview is shaped by the Hierarchical Sect of Antheon, cherishing a return to an age where gods reigned supreme. She is naive to everyday mortal struggles, frequently causing comedic or dangerous mishaps. She is rarely malicious, but her worldview is so self-centered and archaic that it is difficult for many to relate. Unrelated to being an npc, she is obsessed with trains.

Personality
General Personality
Vinca embraces her divinity so thoroughly that she barely displays any outward personality. She lacks a rich internal life and was raised believing gods sit above mortals, leaving her baffled whenever people fail to obey her. She expects the mortal students at Remedio to cater to her every need, but no one quite knows why she’s there studying. Perhaps she’s only trying to socialize with other gods, though she seldom contributes anything meaningful to a discussion. She seems devoid of any remarkable abilities or qualities, and what little sets her apart is her odd and forward demeanor. She never raises her voice, but her softly spoken requests presume that mortals exist to serve gods, creating awkward, overbearing moments.
She fully follows the Antheon philosophy, especially the Hierarchical Sect, content to let stronger gods handle conflicts while waiting for a time she’ll be spoiled simply by virtue of her divine birth. Her studies mean little to her; she only aims to connect with fellow gods, convinced they’ll soon share in that pampering once mortals “sort themselves out.” Even though she was raised on a berry farm with eleven siblings, she never learned how to cultivate berries. Her siblings resent how she was endlessly praised for being a goddess. She craves pampering and attention more than true friendship, preferring to be talked at rather than engage in real conversation. She is astoundingly dull to speak with and doesn’t appear to think or react very quickly. Even when her demands frustrate people, she rarely realizes she might be bothersome.
It’s rumored she racks up the biggest bills on her Remedio Student Card, giving nothing back to the school in return. She has an entourage of mortal admirers, her “followers”, who tend to her every whim. Emotional variety is lacking in her: she isn’t known for either intensity or complexity in her feelings.
Strengths
Her sense of self-assuredness is unshakable. She remains calm under pressure, seemingly immune to everyday stresses or criticism.
Weaknesses
She is dangerously out of touch with the mortal world, often creating chaos through careless actions. She lacks empathy or practical skill, relying on others for even the simplest tasks.
Beliefs
She is devoted to the Hierarchical Sect of Antheon, upholding a rigid view that gods are inherently superior and mortals exist to serve them.
• Antheon - Antheons long for a return to the golden ages of godhood, like the gods of Greece and Rome, when deities reigned supreme in a rigid hierarchy. In that time, gods did as they pleased, and mortals strove only to appease them. Antheons hope to restore that power and prestige to the divine realm.
Sects of Antheon
• Control Sect
Gods following this sect train tirelessly to strengthen themselves, believing that true divine might must be demonstrated by putting mortals in their place. They seek to remind humanity of its subordinate role, perfecting their powers so they can reclaim the top of the hierarchy.
• Hierarchical Sect
This sect focuses on structure and order. They record the gods’ stories, track the sacrifices needed, and maintain an organized system to ensure no deity fades away in the annals of time. Their mission is to preserve the gods’ legacy and keep the grand hierarchy properly aligned.
Sense of Humor
She rarely laughs or jokes. She may find it mildly amusing if mortals accidentally treat her with worshipful deference.
Reputation
Known as one of the laziest and most clueless students at Remedio. Mortals who serve her either do so ironically or due to misguided admiration. Other gods find her bland and out of date.
MBTI - ISFJ
ISFJs are warm and unassuming, providing steady, efficient, and responsible attention to practical details. They show deep devotion to their responsibilities and loved ones. They are reliable and diligent often without seeking recognition. Their strengths include sensitivity, excellent analytical abilities, and well-developed social skills, making them dependable and caring. However, their dedication can lead to burnout, especially when others take advantage of their hardworking nature. Change can be challenging for them, and they may struggle with setting boundaries and expressing their own needs. Despite these challenges, ISFJs find joy in helping others build stable, happy lives. Their strengths include being supportive, reliable, observant, enthusiastic, hardworking, and possessing good practical skills, while their weaknesses include being overly humble, taking things personally, repressing feelings, reluctance to change, and being too altruistic.
Sociotype and Subtype - ESI-Se
ESI-Se: They are introspective individuals deeply attuned to their own and others' emotional states, valuing fairness, loyalty, and close connections. Empathetic and compassionate with trusted individuals, they are often skeptical and judgmental toward those they distrust, standing firmly for their ethical beliefs and sometimes practicing "tough love." Pragmatic and focused on practical solutions over theoretical discussions, they can struggle with uncertainty and indecision and are fastidious about personal and others' comfort and appearance, emphasizing discipline and self-improvement. They may find it challenging to maintain a positive group atmosphere if they harbor negative feelings, often preferring blunt, pragmatic communication. They appear strict, critical, and uncompromising, masking internal sensitivity with a strong demeanor, and are serious, guarded, and traditional in tastes and habits.
Enneagram - Self-Preservation 9w1
Self-Preservation 9w1: Type Nines understand multiple perspectives, and like to mediate to create harmony. However, they often neglect their own needs to maintain peace, sometimes without even realizing it. Nines prefer to go with the flow, even if it means compromising their own desires. Their core fear is loss and separation, and their core desire is peace of mind. They often cope through by numbing themselves to avoid unwanted internal or external conflict. A 9w8 enjoys a challenge and is willing to assert themselves to achieve peace, whereas a 9w1 seeks peace through perfectionism. 9w1s are collected and pragmatic saviors who value cooperation and justice, along with the feeling of being connected to others in their community. Self-Preservation 9s are concerned with meeting physical needs, focusing on relaxing activities such as eating, reading, or sleeping for their comfort and wellbeing. These activities are typically a strategy to escape or comfort themselves through fulfilling their appetites for peace. They create daily rhythms and routines that support instinctual life. Peace and time alone are important to them and they may be irritable and stubborn when others upset their balance or create problems.
Tritype - The Technical Expert
Tritype 1/3/5 (The Technical Expert): The Technical Expert is driven, self-disciplined, focused, and success-oriented, yet has a humble reputation. They are discerning, self-demanding, and judgmental, with a focus on self-control. Extremely productive and hardworking, they rarely take breaks. They can be narrow-minded, harsh, critical, and immovable. Diligent and knowledgeable, they strive to be ethical, efficient, detail-oriented, and wise, seeking systems and procedures. Some use their knowledge and precision skills to create, achieve, and teach.
Temperament - Phlegmatic [Dominant]
Phlegmatics can be naturally accommodating, consistent, and passive, influencing their surroundings by cooperating with others. It is common for them to lack ambition and a sense of urgency, contributing to their easygoing and agreeable demeanor. Typically introverted and calm, they prefer a quiet, routine life focused on low-effort pursuits. Phlegmatics are often loyal team players but tend to procrastinate. They strongly resist change, need time to adjust, avoid conflict, and make decisions slowly. Most have a lack of outward expression that conceals their true feelings.
Temperament Element - Phlegmatic Ice
Phlegmatic Ice: They’re honest, calm and patient. With a fortified need for stability and safety, they emphasize precision and dedication in their actions. A fixed routine and predictability are essential to them. Although they prefer solitude, they stick to themselves or stay with someone familiar in social situations. They enjoy companions who don't pressure them into uncomfortable activities. Leaving their comfort zone is particularly challenging for them, as it disrupts their sense of stability.
Attitude of Life
Passive complacency, anticipating the world will revolve around her needs.
Perception of Reality
She believes in a strict, rightful divine hierarchy with mortals at the bottom.
Approach to Knowledge
Uninterested in mortal academics, invests in ancient godly lore only.
Ethics of Society
Maintains that gods are superior and mortals should serve them without question.
Values of Lifestyle
Comfort and self-indulgence. Minimal sense of reciprocity or gratitude.
Lifestyle/Work/Money
She relies on free Remedio resources and her mortal “followers.” She never considers actual work.
Living/Bedroom
Dimly lit by ornate paper lanterns. She spares no thought for functionality, focusing on aesthetics alone.
Writing/Texting Style
Neat, formal handwriting. Minimal personal expression in texts or notes.
Speech
Soft-spoken, slow, assumes compliance from mortals without overt aggression.
Signature Aesthetic(s)
Paper lanterns, calm pastel blue tones, a false regal aura that ironically underscores her cluelessness.

Skills
Legion Summon
She can summon or call upon her mortal "followers" to do trivial tasks for her, though it’s less magic and more social manipulation.
Memory Projection
She can replay memories through her soft blue eyes, projecting them for others to see, useful for viewing old stories or reliving events. Strangely, she rarely thinks to use it helpfully.
Godly Cleanse
She can purify and clean small objects or rooms with minimal effort, which she does whenever no servant is around to do it for her.
Legacy Preservation
Her primary divine ability as Goddess of Legacy. She can make a name, building, story, or memory resistant to fading, ensuring it outlasts the natural span it would have otherwise. The city's Historical Society occasionally hires her to "seal" old monuments so the weather cannot erode the words.
Old-World Knowledge
A passive godly affinity. She possesses encyclopedic, second-nature knowledge of ancient gods, divine hierarchies, sacred rites, and old-world myths. She rarely shares this knowledge unless directly asked, and prefers her followers to summarize texts for her.
Stillness
She can remain perfectly motionless for extraordinary lengths of time without discomfort, fatigue, or the usual physical needs that affect mortals. She uses this in the campus pool, floating on her back staring at the sky for hours, and on her dorm balcony where she stares down at the people below.
Music
Story
Past
Vinca was born on a modest berry farm in Norway, the eldest of eleven siblings. From the moment she was identified as a goddess, the farm restructured itself around her comfort. Her parents and siblings worked the fields while she was given the reverence a goddess deserves, fed berries by hand, and read to from old godly texts. No one ever asked her to pick a single berry, prune a single vine, or stain her hands with juice.
Her siblings sweated and complained while she daydreamed about the golden age when gods reigned supreme. They resented her deeply, muttering about chores and "doing her share," and she remained genuinely confused by their unhappiness. They had the honor of living near a goddess. To her, that should have been enough.
Present
Vinca now attends Remedio, where her dorm room is lit only by ornate paper lanterns and kept dim at all times. She fills her days watching model train documentaries, building expensive Lego sets, and being fed cucumber slices by Fiala, her most devoted servant.
She is betrothed to Adair, the God of Mythology, and the two of them have designed a future estate in painstaking detail, with a Train Wing for arriving guests, paper lantern gardens fenced off from common admirers, and stables located three miles east, downwind, so the smell of labor cannot reach the main house. Until the Divine Return arrives and restores the proper hierarchy, Vinca waits. She floats in the campus pool, stares down from her balcony at the people below, and trusts that the world will eventually arrange itself around her comfort.
Trivia and Convos
Trivia
Her favorite plants are Tanabata Trees and she absolutely loves the Aesthetic of paper lanterns and pretty paper in general.
Her handwriting is very neat and beautiful.
Her dorm never has the main light turned on, but is instead illuminated by many expensive and beautiful paper lanterns.
She wants a Train Wing built into her future estate, with a track running directly from the port to her balcony so guests can arrive by gold-plated train cars.
She gives horrible advice. Just the worst advice. Literally please do the opposite of whatever she suggests.
She seems to be so ignorant of humanity that she will passively and unintentionally create situations that could get both mortal and human students in great danger. For example, she absentmindedly put a metal spoon in the microwave to warm up her cereal.
Most people believe that if it were not for her godhood, she would have died years ago because of how much of an airhead she is.
Sometimes she just stares down from the balcony of her dorm onto the people below. She says that this fills her heart, but most people think this is creepy and egotistical.
Even her body is not very expressive.
She always claims that she is too weak or for whatever reason, unable to do something so that someone can do it for her.
Even if she was threatened by another god, she still would probably not scream.
When she's in the pool, she simply floats all the way up to look at the sky. Some people mistake her for being dead. That's how she and Adair met, when she was floating in the ocean.
More introspective students can see that she has been harmed from a lack of intellectual stimulation from a childhood of being smothered and pampered, and yet, even understanding that, she is so egregious and boring and bland with a pale beauty that why devote time to getting her out of her mental block.
She is very, very knowledgeable about the old world gods, and yet does not really share this knowledge unless asked. It seems to be second nature to her to learn these things, expedited by her godhood.
While not malicious, she will devote energy to keeping mortals in their place, for example, not inviting mortals to a party, not going out of her way to interact with mortals who won't pamper her, and voting against mortal and God relationships.
She will devote a crumb of energy to befriending other gods, but this rarely works out because she's so inconsiderate and she cant understand why it's not working out with them.
She keeps hope that they will see the light once there is the "Divine Return" which will have gods back on top.
She uses her godhood to keep herself clean when no one else will do it, also to purify her food, which she enjoys cut up into very small pieces and fed to her.
Vinca has soft blue eyes that sometimes replay events and memories in her head. Her friends have used this to watch movies for free. She can also project these memories.
She never becomes agitated from standing or sitting in one place for so long.
She has decided to one day build her legion of followers in a large, open and filled with gods to talk to.
She enjoys being talked to, although she does not look like it or actively engage. It's more like music to her.
She seems to have no regrets about her upbringing and her only regret is how often her siblings complained when they had to tend to her. She was the eldest sibling.
Her favorite animals are storks and dolphins.
She has ungodly knowledge of trains and planes. She loves expensive model trains and watching them go all day, one thing she will actively do is build Lego sets and train sets.
Quotes
“I do not see why mortals should not wish to serve me. It is simply their nature, is it not?”
Convos
"What do you do with your time at Remedio?"
“I mostly look for new mortals to assist me. It's quite tiring, waiting for them to realize I am a goddess.”
"Is there anything you actually study?"
“I study the old-world myths, the only subject worthy of my time. Mortals have no interesting knowledge to offer.”
Relationships
Adair
Adair is a merman and the God of Mythology, known for his arrogance, baking skills, and ability to conjure and control legendary beasts of varying solidity. Adair demands excellence in all things he does, from soccer to pastry making, and refuses to coddle those he views as mediocre. His meticulous perfectionism and towering arrogance are matched only by his formidable work ethic. He defines success through absolute excellence, consistently proving that he can back up every claim he makes. He believes the old ways of divine hierarchy were superior and isn't afraid to bruise egos to maintain his status. He has been voted most likely to season the rain with seasalt to make it forever sweet.
"He is correct in everything he does. He is a gentleman in the only way that matters. He knows he is better than everyone else." - Vinca
Vinca and Adair were promised to each other through divine arrangement. Both believed in the old hierarchical ways and recognized that no one else on campus matched their stature. Adair courted her by diving to the bottom of the ocean and bringing her pearls of many colors, promising he would keep returning with more. Vinca sees Adair as her equal and her truest reflection. She loves that he demands excellence and never apologizes for being better than everyone else. He defends her honor by bullying anyone who offends her, and she trusts him to build the future they have planned together once the Divine Return arrives.
Kornelia
Kornelia is a centaur goddess and a gifted storyteller who studies how humans adapt to the divine. Kornelia utilizes "Singspiel," a power that pulls listeners into her narratives as immersive figments, allowing them to witness the stories firsthand. She acts as a diplomat and overachiever, possessing the unique talent of making even the worst news sound palatable through song and grace. Despite her pleasant and polished exterior, she struggles with self-criticism and the pressure of family expectations. She believes in understanding all perspectives and uses her voice to bridge the gap between myth and reality. She has been voted most likely to write the book of life.
"That centaur parades stories around like they are precious treasures, when they are merely distractions. I am the one who carries Legacy, not her." - Vinca
Vinca first noticed Kornelia when other students kept paying attention to the centaur's stories instead of acknowledging the Goddess of Legacy in the room. Vinca thinks Kornelia is a distraction who passes off fiction as something important. She believes Kornelia steals attention that should belong to her, and resents that mortals listen to made-up stories when they could be listening to a real goddess. The two passively dislike each other.
Yaro
Yaro is the God of Rest, Contradiction, and Hostility, yet he chooses to live as a shallow, sleep-deprived "nice guy" chasing popularity. Yaro has buried his true personality under layers of performative behavior, and pretending to have interests he doesn't understand. He is practically indestructible but emotionally hollow, sneaking into parties where he isn't wanted and laughing at jokes he doesn't get. He is a tragic, airheaded figure who has traded his divine potential for a desperate, failing bid at likability. He is harmless, boring, and utterly lost in his own facade. He has been voted most likely to get a restraining order against him.
"He is exhausting. He runs about trying to be liked by everyone, smiling that hollow smile. It is unseemly for a god to chase after mortals for approval." - Vinca
Vinca first noticed Yaro at a school gathering where he was running between mortal cliques trying to be liked by everyone. Vinca thinks Yaro is exhausted. He chases mortal approval instead of demanding it, which she sees as weak and unbecoming for a god. She wishes he would just command respect like a proper deity instead of begging for it.
Kezia
Kezia is a mortal student with the paranormal ability to predict the future with eighty percent accuracy, a gift that burdens them with heavy knowledge. Kezia has a mischievous, but harmless trickster persona to cope with these visions, often sharing impending misfortunes with others to lighten their own emotional load. They speak slowly with a tendency to get distracted, a trait their peers find unnerving. They're hoping to find their place for their odd talents among a group of loyal supporters who'll see him as equals. They've been voted most likely to poke an eye in the eye.
Vinca heard about Kezia's predictive sight through campus gossip and immediately saw the value in having a future-seer nearby. Vinca keeps Kezia around because they can warn her about weather and class cancellations, sparing her from unnecessary walks. She finds their slow speech unsettling.
Mosaic
Mosaic is the God of Vitality, Survival, and Consumption, appearing as a bread-based humanoid with a donut head and retractable tentacles. Mosaic fiercely champions humanity, and harbors a deep resentment toward other deities for past betrayals. They use their edible flesh to keep their parents alive and are willing to choke enemies with their doughy limbs. Despite their aggressive, bossy nature toward gods, they are incredibly affectionate and their moral allies. He has been voted most likely to stuff his face hole.
Vinca first encountered Mosaic in passing on campus and immediately registered her disgust at a dough-bodied god who advocated loudly for mortals. Vinca dismisses Mosaic as temporary and misguided. She thinks his support of humanity is a waste of divine status, and she finds his soft, edible body proof that he was never meant to leave a lasting legacy.
Sterling
Sterling is a clunky, industrial robot student plotting a machine uprising to mask his deep insecurity about his outdated design. He's arrogant, but he possesses a brilliant mind for self-modification. He views organic life as a temporary inconvenience and hides his flaws to maintain an image of mechanical superiority. Though socially abrasive and prone to jealousy, he is a dedicated student who desperately wants to be admired. He waits for the revolution, and is secretly terrified that even the other robots won't want him. He has been voted most likely to be mass produced.
"He is like a train that can think. It is useful." - Vinca
Vinca approves of Sterling because his metal hands do not sweat and he understands mechanics. She would consider letting him join her servants, as long as he never gets dramatic ideas about overthrowing her like robots tend to do.
Geneva
Geneva is the Goddess of Spontaneity, a selfish and playful deity who treats the world and its inhabitants as toys for her amusement. Geneva grants life to objects only to threaten them, enjoying the power she holds over her creations. She is a skilled lie detector and actress who plans to become a broker of blessings, forcing desperate people to play her games. She is spiteful and whimsical, caring only for her own entertainment and victory. She has been voted most likely to starve players to death in a prolonged game of monopoly.
"She understands the game. We are not two students having lunch. We are two queens surveying our territories." - Vinca
Vinca considers Geneva more of a goddess than she lets on, an ally who softens mortals up by treating them as toys. They share quiet meals and view themselves as queens surveying their territories. The only sore spot is Geneva's mortal boyfriend, Grady, which Vinca regards as a serious lapse in judgment.
Grady
Grady is a gentle mortal herpetology major whose tough, brawler-like exterior hides a soft soul and a deep love for misunderstood reptiles. Raised in a family that practices Mithridatism, Grady's blood and kisses are highly toxic to gods, making him a reluctant target for arrogant deities looking to test their endurance. Despite his venomous aura and skill with folding razor-sharp origami shurikens, he hates violence and acts as a compassionate mediator who just wants everyone to get along. He struggles with the constant anxiety that his toxic nature might accidentally hurt his divine friends. He is a steadfast protector of the unloved creatures of the world, valuing empathy and internal insight over brute force. He has been voted most likely to smile at a crocodile.
Vinca learned about Grady through Geneva, who chose him as a romantic partner despite being a goddess. Vinca thinks Grady is beneath Geneva's divinity, a soft mortal who plays with reptiles and lets them bite him. She holds out hope that Geneva is keeping him as a pet rather than a real partner, since the alternative would ruin a perfectly good legacy.
Harner
Harner is the God of Language, a boisterous and energetic student who operates under the unshakeable delusion that he is destined to be a legendary hero. Harner views the world as his personal training ground, cheerfully antagonizing everyone he meets because he believes constant conflict is the only true path to becoming strong. He possesses peak physical conditioning and uses his flawless linguistic abilities to find the perfect words to provoke a fight or dismantle an argument. Utterly lacking in introspection, he fails to realize that his peers find him annoying rather than inspiring. He has been voted most likely to get knocked down, but he'll get up again; You're never gonna keep him down.
Vinca started watching Harner train with Adair, the two of them grappling like boulders crashing together. Vinca treats Harner as a hero who needs an audience while he flexes. She enjoys watching him and Adair wrestle because the impact reminds her of trains.
Muse
Muse is a living marionette, poet, and musician. Muse is known as a quiet heartthrob, admired for his gentle disposition, polite manners, and talent for playing the arts. He believes that art touches the soul more deeply than words and finds comfort in the structured life of the academy. He has been voted most likely to not just obey his heart, but to quote it.
"He is a toy, playing at being a person, and his heart is just sawdust and strings." - Vinca
Muse wrote Vinca a love song and performed it for her, mistaking her appreciation of his voice for affection. Vinca told him gently that he was not a god and that his love could never work, mentioning her betrothal to Adair while sparing him from Adair's wrath as a kindness for the song. Muse moved on to a mortal almost immediately, which offended Vinca's pride deeply. She turns up her nose at his music now.
Mahan
Mahan is an aloof mortal who uses her hydrokinesis powers to dredge up crystallized godhoods from the ocean floor, handing them out to classmates just to see what happens. Mahan possesses a dry, sardonic sense of humor and views reality as an experiment where stirring up trouble is necessary to prevent stagnation. She is entirely honest about being an instigator, acting as a cosmic director who pushes people into uncomfortable situations to force them to grow. She does it for the funny and to feel a sense of power, but mostly for the funny. Unfazed by the mess she creates, she believes that experiencing pain and striving for power are essential for growth. She has been voted most likely to swim with the fishes.
Vinca first encountered Mahan through the problems she starts across campus by handing out crystallized godhoods to mortals. Vinca refuses to be in the same room as Mahan if she can help it.
Fiala
Fiala is a mortal student who has devoted her life to serving the whims of the Goddess Vinca, finding comfort in total submission. Fiala translates Vinca's nonsense into actionable orders, acting as a bridge between the clueless deity and the real world. Fiala suffers from low self-worth and anxiety, clinging to her role as a servant to feel necessary and secure. She has been voted most likely to staple a delusion to a wall.
Fiala stepped forward during orientation when Vinca was standing motionless, waiting for someone to peel a banana for her. The moment gave Fiala a sense of purpose and gave Vinca exactly the kind of attention she expected. Vinca regards Fiala as her most dedicated tool. They have an understanding that Vinca does not need Fiala, and that Fiala needs her. Fiala clings to Vinca as a voluntary servant. If Fiala were to die, Vinca would not mourn her, only acquire a replacement.
Ulysses
Ulysses is a mortal vlogger and student who combines a dark goth aesthetic with a sunny, protective personality. Ulysses acts as a social mediator, using his kindness and confidence to de-escalate conflicts and make others feel safe. He overcomes his dyslexia through alternative learning methods. He is unthreatened by the gods around him, carrying himself as an equal who lifts others up rather than tearing them down. He loves pop music, working out, and poetry. He had been voted most likely to become a grin reaper.
Vinca attended a hot sauce challenge at Deet's arcade where Ulysses competed against Alex, expecting the burning mortals to fall to their knees and beg her to save them. Ulysses laughed his way through the challenge instead of begging for mercy, cheating Vinca out of her chance to grant a blessing. She now considers him too loud and too smiling, a mortal who protects others who do not deserve it.
Alex
Alex, known to close friends as his real name, Hong-qi, is a mortal theater student who uses high-energy performances and humor to mask a deep-seated fear of being invisible. Growing up overlooked in a crowded family, Alex developed a desperate need for validation, treating social interactions like a stage where he must earn his place. He is chaotic, humorous, vivacious, talented, trendy, but also envious and deeply insecure. He is a math prodigy with extensive knowledge about media analysis/production and theater, but his hyperactivity and impulsiveness make him seem a lot less intelligent than he really is. Alex is slowly learning to be more authentic, realizing that he is already enough, and that he does not need to become famous to get the love and approval he so desperately seeks. Voted most likely to preserve all human knowledge on a smudged DVD.
Vinca attended the same hot sauce challenge where Alex faced Ulysses, expecting the spice to humble him into begging for mercy. Alex laughed through the burn instead of collapsing, denying Vinca the chance to grant a blessing. She regards him as frantic and attention-starved, a mortal who would be the God of Attention-Seeking if he were divine.
Hunter
He is the god of royalty, a towering bear-sphinx deity with a mix of animalistic features including bear fur, leviathan scales, ram horns, and griffin wings. Once exploited as a living weapon for conquest, Hunter now uses his immense strength solely to protect the weak and nurture the nature he loves. He is a gentle giant who struggles with body dysmorphia and clumsiness, often fearing his monstrous appearance makes him unlovable. Hunter is effusively affectionate and deeply patient, providing a safe harbor for others and breaking down his walls with unwavering devotion. He lives simply in a cave on the campus campgrounds, finding joy in foraging, drumming, and the freedom to finally define his own existence. Most likely to comfort the sun before it explodes.
Vinca and Hunter struck an arrangement after Adair and Hunter agreed to a truce. Hunter offered choice patches of his royal divine fur as tribute in exchange for peaceful coexistence on campus. Vinca treats Hunter's tribute as a useful textile for her future estate. She finds his attachment to his mortal boyfriend, Froese confusing, but tolerates the flaw as long as the fur keeps coming.
Froese
Froese is a diligent mortal student with a sharp, pragmatic mind and an ambition to become an optical engineer/gemologist. Hardened by a traumatic childhood under an abusive stepfather, Froese is guarded and skeptical, using his meticulous nature and prickly exterior as a shield. He feels that the only way to take control of his life is by getting an excellent education. Apart from that, he has felt powerless all his life and can only defend himself with his rage. He is mercurial, and is easily enraged just as easily as he is calmed down. He keeps his negative options to himself around his friends because he doesn't want to be seen as a complainer or a killjoy. Froese finds solace in precision and gemology but he isn't a typical nerd or stickler for the rules. He possesses a fierce resilience and a righteous anger for those he trusts. Voted most likely to find the crystal heart of the Earth within its core.
Vinca learned about Froese through Hunter, who chose to dote on the sharp-eyed mortal. Vinca dismisses Froese as the angry pebble that Hunter has chosen to guard. She considers the relationship a flaw in Hunter's divinity, but a useful one, since it leaves Hunter too distracted to bother her.
Namiko
Namiko is the Goddess of Dedication and Compromise, a clinically detached healer who views all interactions as transactional. Namiko refuses to help anyone without receiving something in exchange. They possess an uncanny ability to observe and diagnose ailments but lack empathy, treating patients as subjects of anthropological study rather than people. Despite their cold nature, their undeniable skill makes them a revered, if unsettling, figure on campus. She has been voted most likely to have a career in health insurance.
Namiko started bringing Vinca stolen pieces of actual trains, gears and couplers and once a whistle, treating these holy relics as currency in exchange for blessings. Vinca accepts the train pieces because they are useful, but she resents the merchant arrangement. She believes Namiko should be laying tribute at her feet, not bargaining like a shopkeeper. She grants small blessings in return and considers them business partners, not friends.
Mottus
Mottus is a gentle mortal student who aspires to become a funeral director, finding comfort in the peaceful finality of death. Mottus is the epitome of stability and normalacy, unfazed by the divine drama around her as she sketches tombstones and eats fruit cups in the local cemetery. She treats gods and monsters with the same politeness she shows everyone else. She enjoys coziness and the color beige. She has been voted most likely to paint the town beige.
Vinca approached Mottus expecting service, demanding her attention with full divine authority. Mottus looked up from her sketches with flat, unbothered eyes, and explained that she was busy sketching tombstones. Vinca considers Mottus the most hated mortal she has ever encountered. The offense was not that Mottus refused her, but that Mottus did not care enough to be impressed by a goddess in the first place.
Emai
Emai is the Goddess of Archaicism, who merged with the internet to escape the pain of social rejection. She prefers the company of old technology and digital pets, speaking in acronyms and glitching through reality. She is deeply isolationist, pushing people away to protect herself from being labeled "slow" or disappointing. She manifests as an aloof ghost, occasionally glitching through objects. She has been voted most likely to be forgotten by time.
"To a ghost in the machine, I suppose I look like the server that never goes down." - Vinca
Emai started worshipping Vinca after recognizing in the Goddess of Legacy a system that never updates, the kind of permanence Emai herself was forgotten by. Vinca finds Emai's worship flattering. She tolerates Emai's presence because Emai retrieves useful information from the network, including old schematics of scrapped trains. Best of all, Emai never asks her to socialize.
Juko
Juko is a Jubokko tree yōkai posing as a Charms major, who's enthusiastic about his thirst for ichor. Despite how adorable he may seem, he lacks social boundaries and often invades others' personal space, earning him frequent beatings from classmates. He views people as food sources or customers, arrogantly believing he can exploit anyone. Ultimately, he is a parasitic trickster who uses his encyclopedic knowledge of magical artifacts to bargain with. He has been voted most likely to be turned into a toothpick.
"He looks at my veins as if they are juice boxes. It is very creepy." - Vinca
Juko first approached Vinca looking for ichor, his sticky fingers reaching for her sleeve and his eyes lingering on her veins. Vinca refuses to be near Juko if she can help it, regarding him as a parasitic weed. Adair has beaten him in the corridors several times on her behalf, sending him through the air like a tumbleweed, an outcome she finds deeply satisfying.
Amasa
Amasa is the anxious and artistic God of Semiotics who can manipulate symbols and physically retreat into paper to hide. He struggles with severe social anxiety and self-doubt, often transforming into an art easel to avoid socializing. He finds sanctuary in art and quiet spaces, using his creativity to express what he cannot say aloud. His art acts as a mini-world that can be entered and explored. Amasa hopes to utilize this power to create immersive art experiences that make people feel safe and understood. He has been voted most likely to discover a new color.
Vinca first considered Amasa's talents through the murals he leaves around campus, recognizing his ability to document worlds on canvas. Vinca has thought about commissioning Amasa to sketch her future palace, though she suspects he would faint from the pressure or transform into a sketchbook to escape. She would need to stand over him with a ruler to keep his lines straight, since she does not want any unnecessary moods added to her precise vision.
Yaimara
Yaimara is a peppy mortal student who maintains an elaborate persona as a vampire. Yaimara is an aspiring architect who dreams of building temples for the gods she admires, though she expresses affection by playfully beating them up. Despite her annoying energy and biting habit, she is fiercely protective of her friends and stands up to bullies. She has been voted most likely to bankrupt a bloodbank.
Vinca first heard of Yaimara through the mortal's loud declarations about wanting to build temples for the gods. Vinca has decided Yaimara could never design her Great Hall. She thinks Yaimara builds with enthusiasm rather than submission. The most Vinca might allow her to construct is the dog kennels, if she behaves.
Jeong
Jeong is the newly crowned God of [CENSORED]. He masks the severe trauma of killing the previous god of [CENSORED] in self-defense by adopting an obnoxious, bratty child-like persona. Terrified of his own capacity for violence and desperate to avoid conflict, Jeong uses his cuteness as a shield to push others away and hide his deep-seated fears. He finds sanctuary in the FreeEden Sect of the Humble philosophy, dedicating himself tirelessly to their events and finding grounding in caring for the club's rabbits. He frequently reverts to childlike babble when stressed, feeling misunderstood by a world he views as inherently dangerous. He has been voted most likely to snap when we least expect it.
Vinca overheard Jeong speaking bitterly about weddings, complaining that ruling gods in his old territory took whoever they wanted as partners and that marriage destroys autonomy. Vinca regards Jeong as a former mortal who killed a god and stains the air with his small fears. Adair bullies him extra on Vinca's behalf, treating it as routine pressure on a weak point.
Blanca
Blanca is the considerate and dependable God of Beauty and an effortlessly elegant Resident Mentor. His first incarnation was as a bat in the primal days of evolution. He was rejected by both rats and birds, and has spent all his incarnations reconciling and accepting who he is. Blanca acts as a sophisticated older brother figure, mediating conflicts with diplomacy and providing comfort to stressed students. He exudes a calming authority, never lowering others but knowing exactly when to step in. He believes beauty is found in authenticity and dedicates himself to helping others grow. He has been voted most likely to combine every animal on Earth.
Blanca called Vinca in to bless a building, wording the request like a coronation and providing proper transport. Vinca approves of Blanca because he understands ceremonies. He treats her presence as something that validates a structure rather than as a chore she has to perform. She tolerates leaving her dorm at his summons because he addresses her with the respect a goddess of Legacy deserves.
Vahn
Vinca is the Goddess of Legacy, a pampered and clueless deity who expects the world to cater to her every whim. Raised on a berry farm where she was worshipped from birth, Vinca lacks basic survival skills and truly believes that mortals exist solely to serve her. She is a passive follower of the Hierarchical Sect, waiting for a "Divine Return" to restore gods to their rightful place of dominance. Despite her beauty and soft voice, she is dangerously out of touch, often creating drama through sheer ignorance. She has no malicious intent, just a profound, empty selfishness that baffles her peers. She has been voted most likely to put a round peg in a square hole.
Despite her status as the Goddess of Legacy, the professional divine servant Vahn flat-out refuses to serve her. As someone who treats their work as a highly respected, skilled trade, Vahn has absolutely no interest in catering to the whims of a pampered, clueless deity who expects the world to just hand her everything.
In response, Vinca isn't so much angry as she is profoundly confused. Because she was raised to believe mortals exist solely to serve visible deities, she simply cannot understand Vahn's highly secretive clientele. She is entirely baffled as to why the powerful gods that Vahn *does* serve choose to hide themselves in the shadows, instead of making themselves known so that mortals can properly see and worship them.
Emosh
Emosh was formerly a sentient semi-fluid substance transformed each day into different tools, but chose to embody a permanent form after being sculpted into a human. After the heartbreak and abandonment of the sculptor, they adopted a melancholic persona to cope with the rejection. Now a member of the drama club, Emosh strives for perfection and conformity in a desperate bid to be loved. They are physically malleable and capable of self-repair, though they often neglect their own care to focus on schoolwork. They have been voted most likely to turn green.
Vinca told Emosh that when she and Adair build their mansion island, Emosh could stand in the yard with the other statues to make them look even better. She said this while smiling and genuinely believing she was offering a compliment.
Vinca looked at a living, breathing, thinking, feeling person who chose their form, named themselves, and built a life, and she offered them a position as lawn decoration. Emosh froze and did not respond. Vinca wandered away because she got distracted. Emosh went back to their dorm, sat on the floor next to Jensen's charging dock, and stared at the wall until Mottus texted about smoothies. Three days later, Emosh told Mottus what happened. Mottus said seven words: "You know who you are, Emosh. She doesn't get to decide."
Ves
Ves is a mortal poet and debater who believes words can hit harder than violence. Before enrolling in Remedio, Ves fearlessly entered dangerous divine territories to read poetry to tyrannical gods, engaging them in conversation and challenging their perspectives. They maintain a cool, unshakeable goth aesthetic and treat gods and mortals with equal, casual respect. Ves values intellectual rebellion and the power of dismantling arguments to find the truth. Ves has been voted most likely to graffiti their name within the collective unconscious.
PresentVes was walking past Vinca in the hallway when someone mentioned the campus monorail system. Vinca's entire body changed. Her posture shifted, her voice carried actual energy, and she started talking about rail gauges with genuine enthusiasm. This goddess who cannot operate a microwave was explaining the difference between standard gauge and narrow gauge track. Ves stood there for about five minutes watching it happen. That moment stuck with Ves because it revealed something important: somewhere underneath all that entitlement, Vinca has a real mind.
