Sids (Sona)

I took a couple of fursona tests and all of them came out to Otter so here i am.  This place merges snippets of my real life with the life i would want to have.

Sids is my fursona and she's a river otter who can't swim but can float. She loves to draw and works as a waitress at a diner. The diner's specialty is huge servings of japanese curry rice, which is her favourite food. She also freelances as an artist, drawing others' characters.

Sids is very feminine but has a crude vocabulary and juvenile sense of humour. Most of the femininity is only present through clothing and the things she likes. Sids thought she had been a very nice person and good friend, but in recent years has learnt that she is not. She's kind of rude, but had always thought that others could tell she was joking. Most of the time, she was oblivious to how her mannerisms sometimes hurt others. These days, she's working on catching herself being rude, and working on being the nice person she wants to be. It's kind of difficult.

Sids is also head over heels in love with Chrome, who she met in school and pined after for almost 2 years. Sids gets crushes in a snap but also uncrushes just as fast. (she has trouble differentiating aesthetic appreciation from love). Her crush on Chrome persisted longer than usual and only became stronger as time went on. Sids eventually realized that she was in love, for real. She spent the next 2 years trying to drop hints at every turn and give gifts to Chrome. Well, it worked in Stardew Valley. Sids and Chrome were about to graduate and she thought that this was just another failed romantic venture she would have to file away. All she could think about was never seeing Chrome again. The night before Valentine's Day, Chrome confessed to Sids that they thought they might have feelings for her. Sids jumped on that confession immediately, reciprocating repeatedly. Chrome and Sids have been together ever since, spending most days lying in bed together and looking at memes and youtube videos. No day goes by without them proclaiming their love for each other.

Sids suffers from constant bouts of paranoia about people talking about her in a bad light. Rifts happen easily between her and the people she suspects no longer regard her as a friend. She starts to push these people away until eventually they exchange little to no words. She has a history of bridges burnt silently because of this. Nowadays, while she hasn't made much progress on the paranoia, she is learning to accept that there is nothing she can do about what others say. There is no use speculating such things. She's working hard to channel her mental energy into being true to herself and staying that way. She also wants to trust her friends more than she trusts the voice in her head. She talks to them instead of that voice. It has been working so far, and she's becoming happier each day.

Sids has a complicated relationship with her family. She loves them dearly but knows she can't be with them forever, for her own good. She has a family that isn't terrible but has its flaws. She has a completely different personality when interacting with them, as compared to with her friends.

She picks up interests the way she has crushes. She'd try anything and be taken with it for a bit before she drops it for something new. Something she didn't expect to do and have an interest in was doing elementary mathematics for fun and dabbling in basic coding.

Sids does not have any outlandish ambition, and does not feel the need for such things. She's simplistic and only wants to live a cozy life with her spouse and friends.
