Personality
To most of the world, Vinnie presents himself as a happy-go-lucky and friendly guy. He is that guy, but that's also a lie. At his core, Vinnie is deeply lonely and chronically depressed. He hates himself so much that the only way he can distract himself from this fact is by pretending otherwise.
Vinnie tries to spend as little time as possible by himself. Instead, he uses as much time as possible helping others out and working his job at the VHS store in the mall. When he's around others, he does his absolute best to keep a smile on his face and not let anyone know how he's actually feeling. If there's no one around, he'll fall into his bad habits to distract himself.

History
Vinnie doesn't have many memories of most of his younger life due to his heavy drug use at that time. He still uses drugs, just usually not as heavilly. The only things he really remembers is his deceased lusus, always being on the run from the authorities due to his blood color, and his transitioning.
Recently, Vinnie lost his memory again due to unknown causes. The only things left from the time he lost are a mask resembling his lusus, and a tattoo over his heart. He also forgot about his involvement with VHS' cult, but they didn't let him lose those memories for good. Vinnie's entire world now is that cult and his job at the VHS store in the mall.

TRIVIA
- Vinnie's original blood color is a mutant pink off-spectrum cusp between fuschia and red.
- Due to his involvement in VHS' cult, Vinnie's blood color has shifted to a bright, glowing mutant red. He almost always wears grey contacts to hide this.
- Vinnie's two main design and personality influences are Akira from Devilman Crybaby and Vincent from Cathorine.
- I've played him in Adventurer's League D&D twice. The first time he willingly went into a trap following a crying woman so that he could help her out. She turned out to be a succubus, but he still tried defending her from his party. She was so moved by his actions that she chose not to kill him, and instead gave him her true name. The second time I played him, his pet dinosaur was taken by a dragon. So, not letting that slide, he chose to partner up with the actual villains for the module and killed the dragon. The dragon wasn't a scripted encounter, so the DM's had to make up the end on the spot.

Abilities
Vinnie doesn't have any formal powers or special abilities. The only thing that stands out with him is his insane speed. His speed is almost unnatural, but it's just a result of all the hitman work he's done. It initially started as a way to get something awful over with quickly. Over time, he started to dissociate every time he had to do it, and his body moved as fast as possible on it's own to finish the deed.

RELATIONSHIP: Cult leader
Vinnie joined VHS's cult initially because of the promise of eternal life. It wasn't so much that he wanted to live forever, but he wanted to live longer so that he could help out as many others as physically possible. To this end, Vinnie has taken on several jobs for the cult, most being assassinations and other dirty jobs. He helps out the other cult members as well whenever he's able, but he thinks most highly of VHS.
Vinnie doesn't remember when it happened due to memory loss, but due to his involvment with the cult, his blood color changed from mutant pink to glowing mutant red.
