One of the founders of the resistance of the reef region.

Ex military man on pandora and ex combat doctor on earth. Very quiet, a man of few words but of action. He gathered a bunch of more recoms and togheter stole a bunch of avatars and equipment. They fled in some massive lagoon cave systems and built around them. Making an extra effort not to be tracked, them or the equipment.

His avatar was the first prototype of the  gene splicing RDA project. Mixing and strengthening the Na'vi body with various other DNAs or other genetic modifications. 

His body, togheter with other undisclosed prototypes, as well as the first generation of modified avatars were experimental and didn't exhibit much visual change exept different skin hues and some small details. But as they progressed with the mods, the changes were more and more extream. Mixing Na'vi with Earth's and Padora's animals. Adopting features from them like muscle mass, tails, ears, claws/talons and so on. 

Voss realised the danger these "Na'vi tuning" could ve and he tries to stop it. But the RDA is progressing FAST.

 Now he tries to find a way to be permanently transfered into his avatar and completely ditch his humanity in order to protect Pandora. 

He met a white reef Na'vi named Ukíret, she talked about eywa, how everything is connected and how he might stand a chance to reach his dream if she deems him worthy.
