Ambry is genderless technically but he likes to use the masculine shape and has male genitals. He cannot breed. He is lazy, quiet and enjoys consuming knowledge. He will go through many books a day and focuses on history books and erotic novels. He doesn’t like loud noises or being disturbed. He’s standoffish and doesn’t really make friends. Friends have to come to him.
He was once a god and held his massive monster form that towers over trees. He protected the earth from outside threats. A political figure in his world came into power and decided that all the giant roaming gods were threats considering they sometimes stepped on buildings and destroyed them without knowing. Gods generally ignored humans but they can sense life and will not step where they sense it so only empty buildings and structures were crushed. No lives were lost because of these gods. Despite this the political leader formed god hunters to go and kill them off. Amber encountered some and became critically injured. Gods are not violent and do not fight back even when attacked. He fell into his dormant form(human form) and was rescued by one of the hunters that did not realize he was the god they had just tried to slay. Nobody knew gods could take up humanoid forms.
Ambry traveled with him and blended into the races on that world, not human but looking humanoid enough to be mistaken as some sort of kemonomimi-type race. He hungered to learn about the humans, not knowing anything about them before. He is trying to get to that political figure, slowly planning a way to take him out of power without killing him and restoring faith in the remaining gods.
