P.B. only wanted to work at Lobcorp because it provided a place to live. There's really no other reason why; he used to live off the streets, so if he can get a job that provides his basic needs, he'll do anything at this point. We working with the abnormalities, he's extremely calm with everyone he works with. He's just to tired to panic with them.
He doesn't take anyone's bullshit, if he catches you being a jackass he'll call you out immediately. He's gruff and doesn't really care about anything but his job, and even then he's doesn't care that much. The only person he kind of interacts with is Azure, but it's only to stop her from freeing the abnormalities.
