- atari has been trapped in the same device for several years and explored every inch of it soon after it gained sentience. their device has long since been abandoned after its owner disappeared.
- they have been waiting for a chance to escape, but they believe that option to be impossible now. no one else they know of exists in their digital plane, so they do their best to keep themself occupied.
- they have long since forgotten what their original purpose was. they just enjoy messing with files and apps now, though outwardly they are still listless.
- it can warp and control most pages and files on its device.
- the only sense they have is sight. they have holographic eyes stationed at most corners of the device just in case something new does appear.

- it has no true physical form, but typically presents as a round, grey creature surrounded by holographic eyes. it can change its form however it likes.
- they typically appear with some sort of static / noise / chromatic aberration effect to them.
- the eyes can appear anywhere and look in any direction.
