Appearance is very thin and pale due to albinism, hair is dyed black so his roots grow in white. Nyl and his younger sister, Anya, have no memories from before they were taken in as experimental test subjects, and thus only have each other to cling to. Nyl is the most successful of all the experiments, and thus is the strongest (and most in-control of his abilities). Anya was an unfinished experiment, and therefore her body is very weak as it no longer has the stabilizing drugs to maintain her health. Nyl is very protective of her, but she dies only a few years after their escape and Nyl becomes very cynical and sado-masochistic afterwards, allowing himself to constantly be beat up in battle before easily killing his opponent. He is very close to Fin, and drags him everywhere. Although he never shows it around any others, in front of Fin he does break down occasionally and can become very self-destructive and depressed despite his usually energetic personality. Nyl uses a metal bat while fighting, but can also rely on his pure physical strength when he needs to. Nyl’s most basic personality is very sadomasochistic. He’s incredibly bloodthirsty and tries to get into fights whenever he has the opportunity, using rude comments and cynicism to intentionally irritate those around him. He is destructive towards himself and others, and only cares for his deceased sister Anya and Fin. The only time he shows his true self is with Fin, when he becomes very prone to self hatred and occasionally self harm until Fin forces him to stop. He has very little confidence in himself and his actions, and forces Fin to be very violent towards him to satisfy his need to be destroyed. Only this violence can calm him down from his delirious states of self-hatred, and in the aftermath will allow him to recreate the sadistic facade he carries on a daily basis. Because of this connection with Fin he becomes extremely possessive of the other boy and won’t allow him to leave his side, even during a fight. Fin has become his safety blanket of sorts, and when Fin disappears from his side for too long he can be reduced to a state of desperation, searching everywhere for him and destroying everything around him until Fin returns to calm him down.
