Mortichere is an elite member of the demon coven, capable of manifesting visions of prophecy and foresight while deep in slumbering meditation. Due to her status and abilities she is allowed to set aside her obligations as a high council member and stay secluded separately from the rest of the demons in order to maintain her meditation.
She was born deep inside the fiery bowels of the Earth like the rest of her kind, though she predates even the oldest members of her court. Her wisdom and fortitude allowed her to survive for many many years. Cruel and motherly, she often has no filter and uses her sickly smile to lure oneself into a sense of insecurity and shame. Names never stick with her, as she only refers to others by condescending nicknames. Troublemakers are sent to her quarters to be scolded and reevaluated.
She has a huge fascination with Churchill, thinking of him as a pet or plaything. In the few times they meet face to face she almost never addresses him by name.
