Bio:

Ryunosuke was born into a powerful snake/serpant demon tribe, and his father, Tsuyoshimaru, was the clan's leader, known as the legendary Yamata no Orochi, the eight-headed and eight-tailed serpant demon. His mother died during childbirth, so he never got to know her, but his father would always mention how strong and beautiful she was. Ryunosuke was therefore raised by his father and trained to be the next leader of the clan. He was taught how to use the full extent of his demonic power as well as master the Ono, a powerful double-bladed battle axe, each blade forged from a fang of his mother and father. He decided to name this axe Hebi no Kiba or "fang of the snake". His father was incredibly powerful, and with that power came fear and loyalty from the clan's members. However, after his father was slain by a storm god/demon, the rest of the clan put it to a vote and decided that Ryunosuke was unfit to succeed his father as clan leader. They say it was because he could "never be as strong as his father was", but in truth they didn't believe in his strength because he looked too human and exiled him. Thus his journey began at the age of 17, and he set out to become the most powerful demon his clan had ever seen, one that they would tremble in fear before. It wasn’t until a year had passed that he crossed paths with Seina and decided to tag along with her.

Personality: 

Ryunosuke was a very serious child, growing up with all eyes of the clan on him as next in line for clan leader, and he did not want them to think him weak. He never really smiled or laughed except in the privacy of his home with his father, and though he socialized with other children in the clan, it was always done in a sparring setting or out hunting for sport. After his exile, he became a lot more care free and laid back. Ryunosuke is a bit of a womanizer, often hitting on other half demon or demon women they come across during their travels, which tends to get him in trouble with Seina. He’s also very arrogant, hard-headed, and a bit short tempered at times, but he has a softer side that only Seina has seen, which planted the seed of the romantic feels she secretly has for him.
