History
Grasshopper used to be called Daniel Sherman. He does remember his old name and a few other things from his past, but he finds himself pretty happy with his current life as a perifade. Daniel was a part of the military, and lost both of his legs during an operation near the borders of another country. He had stepped on a mine, and was very lucky to get out of there alive, but his new handicap made him miserable through the following years. He felt worthless, but hearing about the Peerifadium project sparked a bit of hope into him. Therefore, he joined the experiment hoping to become someone useful again, even if he had to give up his humanity for that.
Grasshopper is now a docile perifade most of the time. He usually greets scientists and other humans with a wag of his tail, and likes to friendly lick hands or faces that gets to close. He is very dedicated in combat test and training though, bitting and scratching as hard as he can at his targets.
He has grown a protecting exoskeleton on the whole lenght of his spine, and two brand new insectoid legs. He received his nickname from the fact that he tends to hop around a bit. He stand on the side of the smaller perifades, and can be compared to the size of a german sheperd.
