'messengers of the skies'
birthed into existence during the era of auriel's reign over the skies, the legends say that they were borne of two feathers shed from auriel's divine plumage. the feathers descended from the heavens to the earth below, but the vain god-king could not bear the thought of relics from his domain mingling with that of the grounded mortal realm. he blessed the feathers with life, and passed on his gift of flight to his new children in hopes of them finding their way back home.
