Fern owns a small cafe/daycare hybrid that specialises in helping pokemon relax and take a break from the stressful life of being on a battle team. The front half of the building is a small cafe front with a few tables, counter, and kitchen. The back is the daycare area which consists of a few sleeping rooms of various types (soft and homey for more domesticy pokemon, pool for water types, sleep boxes and branches for birds, ect ect), feeding area, and relaxation areas of various types. Out back is half a small berry orchard attatched where he grows berries to cook into cafe sweets and drinks, and half general romping area for the daycare residents. The upper floor of the building is where Fern and his personal pokemon actually live. Fern is the only human who works there, his pokemon also help run the place in various ways. The facility is fairly small, so even with this tiny workforce Fern is never too overwhelmed with work. There are only a handful of people/pokemon that go through the place on your average day. As this is more of a passion project than a business venture, the cafe alone doesn't 100% cover the costs of life and upkeep. Fern suppliments his income via uploading online videos and pictures.
