Father Evergreen

High Winter:Wood Elf high winter celebration. Involves King/Father Evergreen a figure in a big coat with an eyepatch who carries a sword and strikes down hypocrites and usurpers while giving gifts to those who are honorable and good, and honor social contracts. It is a big 12 day long festival ending in a huge feast. The lords are expected to give presents to their servants, ect. Gifts to those you owe social obligation to (Kids, widows, orphans get a lot of them, ect) Drinking and dancing. There’s a lot of traditional masquarading. If there is to be a wedding between two people of differing station (noble/peasant) it would happen on high winter. Nutcrackers are a traditional present
