shes an alien - specifically from the planet dust’s farm colony is on

species has a bad rep bc they Kill People except actually its just huge misunderstanding on their part
(they communicate mentally through feelings and emotions, and can adjust other peoples emotions to communicate things too

have different needs to things like humans so like
recognising things like pain and hunger as Bad Feelings but removing the feeling instead of dealing w the problem bc they cant distinguish it?
(except yknow if humans cant feel those things theyre likely to die)

anyway fren befriended dust, has been learning as much as she can abt the outside world and other species
learning language, working out communicating and learning whatever she can

identity isnt a huge thing in her home but shes been trying out stuff that humans do too!!!
she picked a cool word name (it sounds like friend!)
and a "gender" - those are fun she likes those

other notes:
- likes glitter and stickers, is often wearing one or both
- has a bandana to match dust!!! dust gave it to her and she loves it
- tries to not read emotions but often subconsciously picks up on them - strong emotions are much easier to read
- to those she trusts (and has permission from) she might communicate via thoughts/feelings rather than spoken language - can tell if people get uncomfortable during that and stops if needed
- likes bright colours that remind her of plants and flowers
