PERSONALITY

Ferenc is a powerful ruler before everything, and that really shaped his whole personality. He's incredibly charismatic, can be quite persuasive (with subtility or without, he can afford some bribes after all). He's authoritarian and knows how to make himself respected. However, the power went up to his head, charmed him, and truly worsened his already seriously egotistical and narcissistic traits. He became even more and more confident.

That being said, Ferenc is surprisingly generous and friendly for a King of a wealthy, powerful region. He won't hesitate a second to share his wealth: not because he wants to help, but because he genuinely doesn't see the point of keeping the comfort all for himself. He's quite enigmatic, and his apathetic and emotionally disinterested behavior makes him hard to read and understand. You'll often find yourself wondering: but why the fuck did this dumbass do that ??

Ferenc is finally quite stupid. Not the sharpest tool in a shed. As manipulative as he can be manipulated. He likes to have full control over people, but can easily be trapped and controlled if done correctly. Don't rush him and at least fake some submission before him, he will hand you his province on a silver plate.

TASTES

Ferenc is a whale shark merman: his bottom parts are no else than a whale shark body. His shark parts are dark grey, with a lighter belly, and middle-toned grey stripes and dot markings. His caudal fin is heterocercal. He wears 3 gold tight bracelet at the end of his tail. The upper love of his caudal fin is pierced with 2 big rings. He has 2 smaller gold piercings on his pectoral fin.

His (human parts) skin is dark. He has a bit of black body hair. He usually shaves. He's quite muscular, leaning more on the hunk side though. He's decently strong.

Ferenc's hair is thick and straight, very dark. It's long and silky soft, and he usually wears it in a large ponytail.

His eyes are fuschia with long eyelashes. They reflect light surprisingly well. He has 2 pairs of ears, the second one is smaller and attached below the main one. This is due to a mutation. The merman has a well defined, angular jaw, and a straight, rather small nose.

He has many piercings. His nipples are pierced. He has a septum piercing (he changes the jewel a lot depending on the mood, but likes to keep it large). He has snake bites, to which he usually add pendants and sometimes a chain that goes all the way from his lips to his lower pair of ears: the left one has a hole in the auricle. His upper pair of ears have 3 forward helix piercings.

Ferenc's left hand is a prosthetic. It got cut off from the middle of the forearm. He changes prosthetic often, but he usually likes the golden, clawed hand better.

CHILDHOOD

Ferenc had a quite comfortable youth. He didn't mind the strict education he got, and he sure did enjoy the incredible luxury in which he grew up. However, he didn't quite understand the hatred of his parent toward the people: on the opposite, the merboy loved showing off his wealth to his friends, watching their jaw drop and their mind go blank in front of such incredible luxury. He would sneak them into the palace, offer them the wonderful food he could get himself in a snap of the fingers, they'd try out the most expensive perfume of the bathroom, he'd make them wear the beautiful piece of royal clothes his father ordered from the other side of the map...

Everyone either loved or hated the future King. He didn't quite care. 

ADULTHOOD

Quickly enough, Ferenc became King. It actually happened incredibly early, at the very beginning of his 19th year. His parents... Well, officially, they decided to leave the province to reach back for their secondary residence. But the newly empowered Archon was aware they got murdered. No one really understands his reaction to this... 

The servant who made sure he was hidden and safe when the killer attempted to kill off the whole family became some kind of confident to him. He would always keep her close, tell her quite everything, and listen to her in return. Tulia became a close friend, and he would spend most of his time annoying her with all the love he was capable of.

He was aware the killer still wanted him dead but didn't seem to worry too much. He kept on living, getting his hand trained at the ruling. He wasn't good at it. Not too bad either, but he was lucky to have smart people around him. 

He was getting more and more confident by days, and didn't even panic when the killer showed up again He started chatting, trying to understand the man. He did not understand the man. He also gave up on wanting to understand and befriend him after he attacked Tulia.

Ferenc immediately got quite violent. He attacked the man who hurt the person he was caring for the most. The whale shark wasn't trained, however, and even though he somehow managed to kill off his foe, he lost his left hand in the attack. He still remembers going back to Tulia, holding her close, desperately calling for help, and insisting on the mermaid being taken care of first, yelling at the servants trying to care for his arm instead of helping her.

He healed quite well, but couldn't say the same of his friend. He lost Tulia this day, and probably lost his will to ever care about anyone too deeply as well.

The incident, unlike his parents' death, hasn't been hidden from the people. He drowned his grief in a proud smile: The Archon Ferenc Eärendil escaped by his own from attempted murder, killed his opponent, saved the Dynasty. He started bragging about his new prosthetic. "You know, I quite like the sight of plated gold and claws on my late hand. Doesn't it drastically increase my sex appeal? Joke on the poor damned who tried to wreck me - I might be twice as attractive now !!"

POWERS

SIREN CHARMING VOICE
Ferenc can charm people only using his voice. Starting with powerful attraction and obsession over his self, and from heavy sensibility to suggestion from him to total obedience and submission to his every order : The shark oh so simply puts people completely under his hold, pulls them in a deep trance where their lucidity gets swipped away. All of that, only using his voice. Intensity might vary. Merpeople aren't affected by the charm.
