born vincent davis on the 26th of january, 1957, in fort worth, texas
in 1973 he ran away from home and hitchhiked to florida
he first made a living busking and later performed at a bar called the underpass
meets kelli frankes in 1974
forms eulogy with her in the summer of 1975

after kelli is convicted in 1985 he visits her in jail often
he forms vince davis and the cavers in 1986 after kelli's suicide, a synthpop/electronic rock band with strange lyrical themes
in the cavers he takes on a very flamboyant persona which is far from who he really is
his bandmates are tom broadhurst, kenny foster and jackson goddard
jack continuously keeps vince from visiting other friends, sometimes even kenny and tom
the cavers have chart hits, some from their debut album religion
vince leaves the cavers in late 1990, effectively dissolving the band
he moves on back to more softer, folk-oriented music
in 1995 he organises a cavers reunion tour
this is abruptly stopped after their milwaukee concert, where vince seems to go missing
vince has shot jack dead after finding out that he was the one who stole kelli's necklace and had her convicted
his mental health goes to shit, he starts to hurt himself a lot to ground himself to reality, but he still tries to do more music
in 1999 he disappears from the music scene after releasing his final album testimonials
come 2000 he commits suicide at age 43
