Beet

This here is Beet, the captain of a motley crew of renegade saiyans who survived the destruction of the planet Vegeta. They were off planet at the time, and survived separately through varying combinations of skill, strength, and pure luck. They slowly found one another and banded together to plot their eventual uprising against Frieza. But surprise! Someone beat them to it.

Beet herself was a teenager at the time of the planets destruction. It's a headcanon of mine that the male to female ratio in the saiyan race was veeerrry lopsided, and as such, Beet grew up fighting off a lot of would be suitors. As she got older, she started beating up other men and stealing their girlfriends to assert her dominance (another saiyan headcanon - they're most attracted to powerful mates. So beating a guy up and stealing his girl was a legit thing that happened fairl regularl among competing saiyans of all genders). She was already considered very powerful for her age at the time of their extinction. She and her crew happened to be off planet when Friezas men came to eliminate them, and while they succeeded in destroying her teammates, they mistakenly left Beet barely alive. She eventually escaped, teaming up with a few other surviving rogues and forming a space pirate crew. All of her other crewmates are males, however she refused to take any on as her partner as she was more powerful than they were. When word eventually reached them that a saiyan was supposedly the one who took down Frieza, she became determined to find him and make him hers. As far as the timeline of the shows go, she likely wouldn't figure out that Goku and Vegeta were on planet Earth (and where that even was) until well into DBSuper, at which point, naturally, both of these powerful saiyans are very much spoken for, to her dismay. However, this excursion would also reunite her with the saiyan queen, who also survived, and who was considerably more powerful than Beet herself. They would settle on earth, where most of her crew would settle with human partners of their own (gotta love those feisty earth women... and men) and she would carry on a relationship with the former queen.

Beet herself is powerful, but only by the standards of the average saiyans. She cannot achieve super saiyan form, although it might be possible with the right emotional push. But pretty much all of the other canon characters would outpace her by leagues, which will frustrate her immensely, and push her to train even harder. 

Normally she would have her tail tucked around her waist, like a proper saiyan, but I wanted to show how floofy it is~ It's a tad fluffier than the saiyan standard.
