Emi is a human girl, living in a world where magical creatures are treated like animals or even criminals. She instead likes those creatures and hates how humans treat them. One day she goes to Fairy Zoo with her class. There she meets a nameless moon elf. She likes her from the first moment and decides to visit her as often as possible. Emi gives her the name Luna. They soon grow to be the best friends.
