Appearance and style: 

Kana has long dark blue hair tied into a plait (bangs parted in the middle, plait goes down to the middle of her back) for both in-uniform and out-of-uniform, has pale skin, and light purple eyes. She sometimes puts dark green coloured contacts in, though usually at the weekend. 

Kana opts for the standard white shirt+red skirt combo in both summer and winter, adding the dark blue knit vest in summer and the light grey knit vest in winter, and opts for the standard brown loafers+thigh-high black socks (black tights in winter) though she does add a pocket watch necklace (small and silver, it has a rose design engraved on the front, and her initials (KA) engraved in smallish font on the back) she had when she was 16 and a thin silver ring on her left pinkie. The coat is worn as standard in winter...though Kana adds a small green four-leaf clover pin on the left lapel and white gloves. (Pocket watch necklace is still worn with both looks)

Out of uniform, Kana opts for a very "girl-next-door" look, usually wearing a long-sleeved thin-striped white-and-blue V-neck t-shirt, cropped blue jeans, and grey ankle-high boots in spring/autumn. She keeps the pocket watch necklace on, but not the ring. After a certain point in the year, she adds a four-leaf clover hair clip on her right side of her fringe. Other outfits: in summer, opts for a sleeveless knee-length white dress with a thin black belt with a silver buckle around the waist and a cropped short-sleeved light blue denim jacket. She adds silver flats with a thin bow on the toes, the pocket watch necklace from her "base" casual, and a silver anklet with a small red heart charm on her right ankle. Kana's winter look is a dark blue long-sleeved turtleneck top paired with black jeans and grey lace-up ankle-high boots with fluff(?) at the top. She adds the silver bracelet with four-leaf clovers she got as a White Day present on her left wrist, plus a rose quartz point pendant with a silver top(?) and chain. (When out, she wears a dark green hooded zip-up coat with faux fur on the hood and black gloves)

◊ Personality: Very motherly, but is no pushover...or so she seems. Kana is genuinely very caring to her friends and those she meets, with her willingness to help them out with whatever is the problem; whether that results in her being a shoulder to cry on, or her pointing them to someone who can help them more. While not as overprotective as she used to be, Kana is still very protective of those she cares about and will react negatively if someone hurts them.

Being used to taking care of her younger sister Hana, Kana is generally very responsible when it comes to things she deems her responsibilities. She is determined to get through them no matter what, which ties to her issues with taking care of herself.

Has the tendency to not take care of her own needs in favour of taking care of others, which can lead to Kana getting stressed out and snappy at best...and collapsing at worst. In addition, her devotion to her responsibilities can go too far, often ending in someone needing to calm Kana down before she goes too far. 

Despite her gentle, easygoing nature, Kana is somewhat insecure of herself, leading to the belief that if she can't keep her responsibilities, people will think she's unreliable, leading to her overworking herself and generally suffering. This insecurity has led to other issues, with Kana being easily affected by the opinions of those around her, and needing extra assurance when she feels she's messed up.

Kana often uses a timer when doing schoolwork and when baking, because she struggles with time management.

Kana suspects she is autistic like Hana but knows it is unlikely she'll ever get diagnosed. (Though she's in a bubble of denial about another issue altogether)

She can be very protective of people she can tell aren't all that healthy, due to her experiences with Hana (who tends to not click she's not feeling right, unless her sensory issues are causing more problems than usual). 

She is fond of shipping people she thinks would work as a pairing, and if she can, get them to interact (her prime targets are Shu and Hoshiko, Kensuke and Hana, and Elijah and Hina)

She tends to keep an eye on Hana interacting with people for the first few times--a habit from their childhood. (If the major moments of interaction are in one of Hana's clubs, she'll ask someone in that club to keep an eye on Hana)

She usually stays behind to double-check the kitchen is clean, and often gives it a quick clean after the Gourmet Club has been busy (and especially if there's been a mishap).
