- she was born july 17th in new orleans. her family wasn't very wealthy, and her home wasn't a good one. once she became of age, she ran away to detroit, bringing only some of her stuff and a small puppy she found on the street.
- in detroit, she first worked a few jobs at once to afford living for herself and her dog. she has always been interested in science, but due to a lack of money, she couldn't attend college.

nimbus, or more often called mimi, is quinn's dog. he's a mix of german shepard and samoyed. quinn started working as a stripper so she could pay off his vet bills. nimbus has beaten stage II cancer and is one of the closest beings alive to quinn. he's often spoiled by her.
the two don't have any special relationship. he's her boss and she works in the viper. quinn mostly just does her job and doesn't ask too many questions. although she discovered nathan's love for dogs and uses that to her advantage (a.k.a. she makes him babysit mimi).
