Pretty cold towards most. Doesn't express herself to anyone she isn't close to. Even when she is with someone close its hard for her to express how she really feels. Due to that she bottles up her feelings a lot. She has trouble socializing with others and can't really read subtle emotions every well. She is rather dull and quiet most of the time unless she is excited about something. Thats mostly the only time she expresses herself in front of anyone. Though she tries to keep that under control.
Backstory
Amber was born due to an accidental pregnancy when her mother wasn't being very careful one night. Amber's mother worked as a prostitute and was really good at it. So during her nine months of pregnancy she had enough money to live off plus she had sugar daddies scattered around the city who gave her money. Amber's mother was only 18 when she had her baby and she wasn't a very good mother most of the time. But she did try. When Amber started to walk, talk and remember memories she always remembered her mother going out in her pretty outfits and sometimes men came back with her at night. But she though this was normal so she didn't think much of it. But as time when on Amber got to see much more of her mother's job and the emotional strain that came along with it. But Amber did her best to cheer her mother up when she got like that. When this happened so many times Amber decided to take a few things into her own hands. She started to attempt to make her mother breakfast, do the washing and even cleaned up her toys. Of course for a little girl all of this was really hard to do by herself.
As Amber started to grow she began to become more responsible and more adult like when she should have still been acting like a kid. She cooked a lot of the food when her mother couldn't, did a lot of the chores around the apartment and even helped her mother out by buying some food from time to time. Due to this she was a pretty anti social kid and she was very different from the other kids she met. So she didn't bother with them. But her mother still doing her same job made her notice that her mother doesn't seem to express much of her true emotions to the men she was with. Which over time rubbed off on her. Seeing how much damage her mother went through emotionally made Amber worry about herself being like that. As Amber hit her teen years her mother had fallen in love with a client of hers. He treated her to all sorts of gifts and gave her how ever much money she wanted. But she really wanted his love. The man knew this and strung her mother along til the end. It happened when Amber was in the kitchen. She heard the whole conversation and went towards the living room. She saw her mother brokenhearted and in tears while the man just smirked slightly. He brushed her aside and told her directly that he was just using her for the sex and to have something to cure his boredom. Amber snapped when she heard this she went straight at the man and using her claws she made a big scratch along his cheek.She used this chance to push him out of their place with all of her strength. She hissed at him and slammed the door in his face before locking it. She hurried to her mother and made sure she was ok. But that night made her realize that emotions were a weakness. So she started to close hers off.
After that her mother found it hard to find work again and as the years went by the money she had saved up began to go slowly go down. Her mother managed to find a part time job as a cleaner but she didn't make enough to fully support them. So Amber stepped up to the plate and began to look around for a job. Of course it wasn't easy for her. Lots of places turned her down because of how she was. Pretty much emotionless and not very friendly. But she finally came across a club. She went inside and find out it was a strip club. But she wasn't going to back down. She went straight to the manager and applied. As she waited to hear back she went around different clubs to see how the girls preformed. She practiced a little at home just trying to get the movements down but it frustrated her to no end. But after a week she finally heard back and was invited in for an interview. So she went and found out there were a few more at the interview as well. They all had to preform for the boss. So everyone did. To Amber's eyes they all did the same thing and tried to be all cute. But Amber wasn't going to be like them. So when it was her turn she did something different. She used her body to express everything and only used her face to let out a small smirk near the end of her performance. Instantly Amber and another girl got the spots they needed filled. After that Amber was able to help out her mother with the money situation. Of course things started to turn out well for her mother after a few years. She found love again and a better job. She was able to make more money again and actually live instead of just barely living. Amber moved out at 21 and eventually so did her mother when she married her new man. Amber continued to work for the strip club since she did get some pretty good money from it.
