Satoshi

Satoshi was always exceptionally average in the worst way. He tries very hard but is unable to rise above mediocrity. In school he studies hard yet receives marginal grades, for all the studying he does he see this a failure. The only place he ever exled was hockey in middle school. Though with this success he experienced an even greater failure. In mana training he was hardly able to manipulate mana, only being able to make a small ilusion between his palms. He has been given a one-star rating for minal ability to use or controlled mana. This was even more diapitong as his late father was a three-star mana user who held a government job (national mana defence force?). His mother had hopes that Satoshi would succeed his father. Though she tries to hide it Satoshi knows he is a disappointment to her.

In high school his one success was strided way as this hockey team had a multitude of player better than himself. He hardly gets to play any more. It is also around this time his younger sister Katsumi (勝美) showed great potential with mana use. She also managed to keep a starting position on the girl’s hockey team. He and his sibling don't get along.

As depression sets in he makes an attempt to kill himself but failed. Whiles laying on the ground leg broken, miasma begins to corrupt his soul. Though infected he retains his own consciousness. He finds out that his infection gave him the power to convert mama to miasma and channel it like others did mana. As a miasma user he is both a Bellator and a Statera. He now used miasma at a level akin to special ranked mana user.
