Void

A gentle and caring deity. Void governs over one of the realms of the afterlife; The Void. Perhaps not the most original of names, but The Void lies between all realms as a neutral place. Sometimes seen as a middle ground, where beings can end up if they have nowhere to go. Alternatively those who worship him can end up there, especially if their souls were particularly strong willed.

He is the creator of Voidlings, they are his subjects who reside in the void and help him watch over and maintain it. Many of his voidlings were once his followers in their previous lives, and some were simply born there or created by him directly.

He is overall a big softie who just wants to be happy and enjoys helping people. He cares little for the alignments of individuals and accepts people regardless.

Void can be noted for having a fascination and adoration for life, regardless as to what it may be. Seeing new creatures tends to excite him the most. The fact that life is always changing, growing, and adapting has captivated him for eons. He strongly believes that life is important, especially young and new lives. It saddens him greatly when such are cut short, beginnings should not end so soon.

Funnily enough, Void makes most gods appear lazy and uncaring. He goes out of his way to spend time with those who worship him and insists on personally getting to know them. Anyone who prays to him and chooses to worship ends up knowing him on a personal level. Such things don't just stop there, as he ensures he remembers their names, never forgetting people despite having been around since the beginning of time it's self. To worship him is to gain a friend, he doesn't believe in toying with mortals for amusement, instead valuing them highly and caring about their well being.
