Personality:
She behaves strong and uncaring, cold even, and puts up a wall to anyone who tries getting to know her. But if you can get past that wall she's actually kind of a lost soul.
She will be 100% loyal to her allies and try to make herself as useful as possible, however she doesn't like being bossed around and can get snappy if anyone tries dictating to her what to do instead of simply asking her to do it.
She has a short temper in general and will get snappy before she lashes out, so unless you're looking for a fight it's best to stop at that point.
She doesn't hold many people close to her, but when she does she gains a strong emotional attachment and gets distraught if she loses them... it's for this reason she avoids letting people get to know her in the first place.
 

History:
Matilda and her two brothers Trent and Travis started off with a happy life, they lived with their mother in the forest living a human life in small lodge instead of a hive like most other fairies.
At the age of 6 however their mother began struggling financially and sold all 3 of her children (triplets) to two different demons.
One demon took Trent and Travis, and the demon who took Matilda made her a slave and treated her horribly.
At the age of 18 Matilda was sold to a pimp who made her sleep with demons and other "monsters" for his own personal profit. There was nothing in it for Matilda other than her master wouldn't beat her as long as she obeyed.
She was only at the brothel for 3 years and when she was 21 she got sold on yet again, this time to a demon who kept her the longest.
He learned of her brothers and would deliberately make her angry telling them they should have come for her and they didn't care about her simply to be crewel to her... but his words really did take an impact on Matilda and she believed that he was right.
Where exactly 'was' Trent and Travis? why hadn't they come for her? She hadn't realised that they themselves had been sold into slavery and were dealing with the same thing she was, She believed they abandoned her and didn't care. 

As fate had it she did see them again many years later when she ended up in an organisation called RED, except they hadn't seen her. They walked right past her without even realising... though in their defence they were being rushed out and weren't exactly paying attention to the people around them, but this only made Matilda feel even more like she had been abandoned by them.
She would deliberately avoid them after that, making sure the boys didn't see her. She was mad! She knew she'd lash out if she came into contact with them, which she also knew she'd be punished for by RED if she created a scene.

Some time later the boys left RED, and she willingly put her hand up to go an assassinate them, punish them for deserting RED, and for abandoning her.
