Before School

Hamari's father (Antonio Falkov - Russian) found love while abroad in Japan, where he met (Miyo Tanaka - Japanese, the two eventually moved their lives to Russia against Miyo's family's wishes. While travelling the world for Antonio's work, where eventually Hamari came along. She travelled with them, luckily she was a quiet baby so they had little issues taking her places.
Eventually, Antonio's work sent them to Japan where 5-year-old Hamari saw a hero in action, Echo Stealth she told her parents she wanted to be a hero in Japan - her parents said no, at the time she was quirkless. She pleaded with her parents, even drawing herself as a hero. After going on a walk to clear her mind and think about the hero she wanted to be, (not fully fleshed but the gist is there) a villain grabbed her as a hostage and the same hero she saw days before, Echo Stealth was the one to come to her rescue. He found the drawing she did of her hero outfit which clearly resembled that of a bat.

With her grandmother's help, she managed to convince her parents to let her live with her grandmother in Japan to follow being a hero. (Emiyo Tanaka - Japanese) had Hamari's legal name changed from Hamari Falkov to Hamari Tanaka. From there, Hamari was raised living in a traditional Japanese home, even helping her grandmother with the shrine they owned/kept clean (I'm not sure of the term). Eventually, signs of a quirk started to show, her pupils began turning lighter than her iris's, but yet no actual quirk had shown itself.

Primary School

The day she started her first school in Japan, Hamari was overwhelmed greatly by the culture shock. From seeing many places to traditional Japanese life, to modern schooling. She ended up getting sick from the stress, Hamari recovered soon after and returned to school where one ruthless little brat learnt her parents gave custody of her to her grandmother. They took this as Hamari was abandoned, and Hamari's lack of modern Japanese knowledge was their fault. They began to tease her for those and other things (like her eyes). The stress from this and an unknown reason, she kept getting sick with a very low temperature, ice-cold breath and sweating as cold as river water.

One day a few months into her first year of school (age 6), a boy pushed her, the first time the teasing had gotten physical. This was the day after she'd gotten over a sick spell when Hamari fell from being pushed she was winded. Making her cough hard with her cold breath. The kid freaked out as Hamari's coughing only got worse.  The other kids got a teacher as the kid who pushed her stared in fear, either because he was guilty or scared of her. The school got Emiyo to come and collect her, the coughing fit had left Hamari with a dark scar on the right side of her face from her quirk which had been there but was struggling to adapt to her body. Her -100 degree Celcius saliva had come in contact with her cheek, leaving a frost-burn on her face. Emiyo quickly withdrew her from the school to homeschool her - Hamari began to wear a mask from then to hide the scar and to protect others from her ice-cold breath. The doctors soon gave her quirk a name after some tests: Liquid Nitrogen.

Private Girls School

When Emiyo got sick while homeschooling Hamari, the owner of a private girls school, and one of Emiyo's good friends came to the shrine to care for Hamari while Emiyo recovered. Hamari spent a day at the school over a weekend and soon started her schooling again there. She quickly found friends who were like her, both with lighter coloured pupils to their iris's. Ao Mitsudo shared her light blue eyes and Anzu Okashi, whose pupils were lighter but eventually got darker as she grew up. The three were very close though they all were in different grades. Since Ao's quirk would easily spook other people, and Anzu's wasn't something she could freely use at the time, they all had reasons to dislike/fear their own quirks. Emiyo's friend who got Hamari into the school helped them all come to terms with their quirks, finding ways to let them use their quirks under supervision without harming others. They suggested to Emiyo that Hamari look into a respirator mask, luckily Emiyo's late husband who worked for a quirk equipment facility, had made a mask that was designed for Hamari's mother, Miyo and her 'breath' quirk. The mask was perfect for her.
The three worked together when they could. Yet sadly, due to their age differences, Anzu left the girls school before the other girls, then Ao left, and finally Hamari. They all pursued the same high school, but yet fate had different ideas for them.

Arc Events

UA Entrance Exam

Due to her previous education at a private all-girls school, her power, intelligence and skill were all recorded constantly.  This along with her traditional Japanese values, she was offered a place in the UA Recommended Entrance Exam. Her grandma was planning to send her to Seiai Academy due to the similar nature of her previous school. 

Hamari was conflicted if she should try for UA, the defining moment where she accepted the offer, she noticed a tiny pro hero/teacher Hibiki worked there. Her hero idol since she visited Japan as a child before moving there. 

Hamari was in the same UA exam as Shoto and Momo, she passed without a lot of issues, her only fallback was her fear of using her quirk around other applicants.  Though this was also noted at her previous school. 

Quirk Apprehension Test

Her quirk doesn't assist her normal body, she landed herself in the mid graded students due to this. Her brute power from her quirk was what she used when she could. Her quirk was not very useful in assisting her. 

Battle Trial

Sadly, due to her grandmother becoming greatly sick at the time,  Hamari missed out on the first class event. She had to make this up at a later date with a private battle trial with students from other classes that had missed the battle trial too.

Unforeseen Simulation Joint (USJ)

After being saved by a rescue hero at age 5, she wanted to help others too, the USJ made her visibly excited; but when the villains attacked she was extra furious, but instead of attacking the villains she guarded other students in her class with less direct quirks. She wore herself down by overusing her quirk too much and needed a few days without her mask, gloves, etc; solitary rehabilitation. 

Hamari felt quite poorly for the next few days, and especially poor when she saw her classmates and teachers again. In her mind, she was too weak to protect them.

U.A. Sports Festival

She passed the first test without issue by dodging the troubles and not getting involved if she could, the second event she failed in with her team sadly. Due to her ice-cold body, she tried to help out all she could but wasn't able to much, avoiding her quirk so it would not harm her teammates. Internally cheering on the others in the final event, praising everyone after, especially Momo.

After the festival, she, Momo and some other classmates went out for lunch at a cafe, she could see Yayarozou's self-doubt and wanted to make her smile again. Like the class had been doing for her.

Vs. Hero Killer/Hero Supervision

After having some debates about where to go, she asked her classmates where they were going and why. Ochako made a point that stuck with Hamari. Do a form of training you wouldn't normally do, so she took the offer from a melee fighter.

Rabbit hero, Rumi Usagiyama, was the hero Hamari spent her hero supervision with. She quickly learnt a lot, how to use her legs better and also that she had quite a few loose hanging items on her hero outfit that would, and did become a hassle to fight melee with.

Final Exams

Scored high in the written exam, though in practice she was fearful of harming the teacher with her quirk, instead opting with the teammate (TBA) to flee for the exit, only using her quirk to slow the teacher down. And did so. Her intelligence to plan their escape was what got them out with her partner's abilities in mind.

Forest Training Camp

Her training was controlling the amount of nitrogen she produced, making herself able to lessen or intensify the power which worked by the time the villains had initiated their attack. Once again she tried to get the others to safety, mainly due to having used her quirk so much in training she couldn't use it too much to be offensive.

Hideout Raid

Since she overused her quirk in the forest training arc, she was in solitary getting rehabilitation; not knowing about Bakugo's kidnapping and rescue till after the events, wishing she could have helped and feeling bad about that. Yet she was able to watch the All Might vs All for One battle as it streamed; she was audibly cheering for All Might like others, something she doesn't really do.

Provisional Hero License Exam

Hamari's room was inaccessible for the others when doing the room rating, she was busy getting the last of her rehabilitation rest in her dorm room, the final day of the rest. - Using her quirk in moderation for her training instead of using it all out again. Working with the support students to upgrade her mask to enable more of her icy breath to be transferred to her cylinder tanks.

This is where she changed her hero outfit to her current. The health scare made her change a few things.

Shie Hassaikai

Like the rest of her classmates, Mirio wiped the floor with Hamari, attacking from between two of her classmates and using her fear of harming her classmates and Mirio.
Hamari was paired up with an outside hero, training with that hero during the time of the raid. Her hero ended up teaming up with the police force for the raid. Her quirk was utilised for stopping the villains in their tracks with her newly learnt skill from Todoroki (freezing the ground and legs). She watched the spectacle of Overhaul and Deku in the sky, in awe and fear. Her reflection came shortly after. Hearing about Sir Nighteye, it hurt, as expected.

School Festival

Hamari originally voted for Ochako's Mochi shop as their school festival event, she didn't complain when the performance was chosen. Quickly she turned away from the stage acting, music was not her strong suit, and dancing in a non-traditional way made her constantly trip over her own feet. While she tried her best to use her shrine maiden history to dance it just wouldn't work for her. Agreeing happily to be backstage. At the start of the show, she was on lights and cues, later switching to help Kirishima and Todoroki with the glistening snow. She wasn't able to do much but the sense of joy and relief she felt from seeing everyone so happy and working their hearts out for a joyous time.

Emiyo used to live alone since her husband passed, she lived alone for years. Then suddenly, she became the caregiver of Hamari, a five-year-old, mixed-race child with a wild quirk. Both found this chaotic at first but Hamari learnt that Emiyo was what she needed in her life. Instead of two parents who were constantly travelling with her: somewhere she could be and stay. Traditional values were quickly instilled into Hamari from her grandmother, which made Hamari the quiet and polite girl she is now. The mask Hamari wears was designed by Emiyo's late husband who worked for a quirk equipment facility, the mask having been designed for Hamari's mother, Miyo and her 'breath' quirk. The only time Hamari is seen with her mask off is with her grandmother or, in more serious cases, medical staff.

UA Classmates

Yuga Aoyama 

She has great respect for him, after some time of watching and questioning him about his quirk, she learnt they're similar in quirk types, their bodies aren't fully suited for the quirk. Where Aoyama's laser has a great kickback to his body, Hamari's quirk can burn herself. Alike to Mina. Early on in the year, Hamari learnt that Aoyama and herself both prefer eating in their classroom and not in the cafeteria, after a while, Hamari invited him to join her one day. Though she normally has a protein drink for her lunch (due to her mask), she brought proper food and eat it normally. She only moved her mask just enough to get her chopsticks to her mouth though; this is a great sign of trust for her, she trusts Aoyama greatly, one of the most trusted in the class.

Mina Ashido

Kind of like Yuga, Mina could harm herself or another with her quirk, the same as Hamari. In a way, she admires Mina, not just for the control of her quirk, but also due to her personality and how bubbly she is. While watching Mina dance one day, Hamari quizzed Mina about dancing (since she was raised traditionally, no dancing like Mina), the day after Mina and Hamari spent some time after school dancing. Hamari had a blast with Mina that day, they still occasionally dance together, even though Hamari has two left feet.

Tsuyu Asui

Hamari tries to avoid using her quirk around Sue, after learning the cold makes her hibernate. Although, she does have great respect for the frog girl and her skills, also the brazen way she talks freely at times.

Mezo Shoji

With Shoji around and in the class, Hamari feels less out of place (due to both of them wearing masks). Although, she still is not comfortable enough around him to remove her mask: he may be one of the first to see under her mask, asides from her grandmother.

Hamari feels a different connection with him, compared to other students. More of a possible crash. She doesn't plan to let him or anyone know. She's content focusing on her path to Hero-ism, and leave romance for later in life.

Shoto Todoroki

Due to having, partially, a similar quirk, Hamari likes to train with Shoto to learn from his ice quirk. She feels for his past, having experienced something similar to a lesser degree.

Kyoka Jiro

With the 'gothic' vibes Jirou gives off, Hamari tends to be fascinated by her. Coming from an all-girls boarding school meant she did not meet many types of girls, the new experience gives Hamari warmth in her heart to see Jirou being different in a world of uniqueness. Though due to Hamari not talking much, she would rather message Jirou or talk to her with music in the background.

Momo Yaoyorozu

She has a great fascination with Momo's quirk and her status as Vice Class Representative. Up until the UA Sports Festival, Hamari learnt from Momo with academics about Japan-related things and growing more outgoing and social. Though, when Momo lost her confidence, Hamari felt deep dejection towards her state of being. Seeing as how Momo had given herself more confidence, Hamari offered to take her out somewhere to try to boost Momo's spirits and return to the proud Momo she knew.

Izuku Midoriya

(Where do I start xD) Although she will internally call him a moron for getting himself into trouble and injuries a bit, she does give him major credit for the dedication he has; especially since he was quirkless for longer than others. With her Hero Supervision being done with Rabbit (Rumi Usagiyama) she gained more skills with legwork and strength, then trying her best to pass that knowledge onto Izuku when he switched to fighting with legs over his arms.

Kirishima Eijiro

Hamari is able to connect with Kirishima due to his quirk, his body can hold up against and stray results of her own quirk. Since he's able to resist attacks and such, she feels more comfortable that she isn't going to hurt him with her quirk.

Others

Ao Mitsudo

School mates in junior school, same private girls school, one year above her. So was the first to bring all three girls together, Ao and Hamari have very different quirks, which helped them get along. Ao managed to get close to Hamari, and Hamari to Ao.

These two kept their bond longer than herself and Anzu. Since the students at Shiketsu and UA tend to train together occasionally, they get to see each other more often than expected. Ao is one of the only people to know about her secrets.

Anzu Okashi

School mates in junior school, same private girls school, two years above her. Along with Ao, they were really close in their younger years, Anzu teaching Hamari how to cook and bake, and Hamari helped Anzu with educational skills (English, etc).

Hamari and Anzu remained friends till Hamari fell ill during middle school, by the time she returned, Anzu had left middle school. The two never really reconnected, and eventually fully drifted apart.

Asami Mein

She is able to be pretty good friends with Asami, enjoying her company quite a bit. They've spent out-of-class time together even, spending it with a few other classmates for a gaming night. Spending it with the class, though she isn't an outgoing social, Asami seems to bring that side out in her like to Momo.
