Design Terms of Use
ADOPTABLE TERMS OF SERVICE These rules apply to those who purchase my products.
1. Reselling / Trading - Designs may be resold if you purchased them either from myself, or from another user. - Designs may be resold for no more than what you paid. If an adoptable is sold with art by me, you are only allowed to charge others what you paid for the commission in order to allow someone to receive the art. You forfeit the right to personal use of the piece and agree to delete it once personal ownership is transferred. - Designs may be traded for other designs and / or goods. - Designs may be gifted to other users. - Once you resell / trade / gift the design, it is no longer yours.
2. Editing / Changing the Design - You are allowed to adjust the design after your purchase.
DO NOT: - Do not edit my original artwork / file. Please create a new drawing if you want to make changes / edit the design. - Do not take payment to edit on top of my artwork, or pay others to edit on my artwork. Please make / get new art if money for edits is involved.
3. Commercial Rights
- You are not allowed to use my original artwork of the design for profit in any way. Purchasing art from me grants you PERSONAL USE of your digital copy, which means you cannot in any way use the art to gain a profit. - You are not allowed to include my designs in games / comics / videos and other mass media consumed materials for profit. - You may make merchandise such as charms / shirts / prints / business cards / post cards etc. featuring the character / design you have purchased, so long as the art is YOUR OWN art, or art purchased from another user with explicit permission from them to use their art in such a way.
4. Re-posting
You may re-post the artwork / design you've received to display them as yours, however you are required to downsize / watermark it for public display. My original, non-watermarked artwork should not be posted publicly for the sake of the protection of the art.
