"They would see their creation stunted to bring their force to bear. I will remind them they have made no mere beast."

   DEPICTION

Pursu-Hond is a monstrous horned creature about the size of a hippopotamus. His body is heavy and broad with large long-fingered hands that connect closely at the wrists, making him appear almost legless. He moves faster than it seems like he'd be able to, dragging himself aggressively along the ground. His belly is thick skinned to protect him from injury. His wide mouth is filled with large teeth, most of which are flat. He has two sets of canine teeth and the set located in the back of his mouth curve inward toward the throat for locking prey in place like hooks. His horns are ribbed and curve like a bull's and his leathery hide is spotted unevenly. Almond shaped blue and yellow eyes are rimmed with black.

   REGARDING PURSU-HOND

Despite his appearance as a ravenous beast, Pursu-Hond is a professional bounty hunter. He is employed by the Sovereign in the Castle of Cobalt, who pays him to hunt down fugitives and escaped criminals. Besides his physical abilities to hunt and track, Pursu-Hond is also an oracle. He calls on visions of the near future to see where his prey is hiding. While this is an unconventional and shallow use of this type of power, it makes his job a simple task that he has never failed. He is not concerned with solving crimes, proving guilt, or even with the potential of his future sight. Pursu-Hond has simple needs day-to-day that gold can fill. He hunts men with swift accuracy and earns his living. His personal fulfillment does not factor into the matter. If the tales are to be believed, Pursu-Hond is tireless and vicious. When he catches up to his prey, it is said that he wraps his giant fingers around their middle with rib-cracking force, questioning them in close proximity to his cavernous, toothy mouth. Whether this force is intentional or just a consequence of his massive build is unknown. Once their identity is confirmed, he drapes their (usually unconscious) body over his horns and carries them back to the Castle of Cobalt. When taken at face value, Pursu-Hond is difficult to get to know. He has few friends and does not mind being alone if the alternative is keeping company with idiots. He speaks language fluently but does not waste his breath with flowery phrases or words he does not mean. Expecting the same of others has lead to his ultimate dislike of most people. Luckily for him, his reputation precedes him wherever he goes and their fear keeps most unwanted company far away.
