Chime is a small cuckoo clock dragon! They travel and seek out antiques to trade and barter with. They're overall a pretty chill derg and enjoys small talk and deep conversations. Chime is very fierce and passionate about antique things! they're favorites ususally being clocks, watches and wood carved items. They seem to be very self aware and polite. Chime is not proud to admit it but they are somewhat of a hot head.
A fearsome beast...
To a small cuckoo clock is something to get used to, especially if you'd been a dragon for majority of your life. A large scaley cold hearted monster to be frank. I regret being such a cruel and lazy dragon while I truly was one...I'd give anything to soar in the air again....
Downfall of the Leveler.
215 years and yet no knight could slay the leveler. That was the dragon that lived in the tallest mountain, no one ever knew what the beast was actually called, and no one ever survived a battle with it, Not even the horses were ever found. They had sent over 100 men, heavily armoured heavily trained, but it never seemed to make a difference. As the Kingdoms that surrounded the mountain became wary, they finally decided the best choice was to combine their forces to defeat the monster that haunts their minds. Eventually they made an army that not only had knights, but mages orcs and all kind of other creatures big and small, magic and non-magic. They made their way to the moutain and in a weeks long battle finally took down the dragon, they celibrated but not for long. A slow fog seemed to leak in from the walls and blind everyone who was left over from the fight. Not many noticed but there were glowing marks all over the walls and before they knew it the dragon appeared before them, not hurt, not weaker but the exact same. No one made it out. Luckily each mage had an eye charm with an enchantment to allow mages from the kingdom to witness everything, The strongest of them came together and found what the markings were. There was a witch who was famous for her insanely strong spells that had gone missing years ago. So they sent a small group of mages, witches and some knights to look around the mountain, they eventually found a small hidden entrance with the witch inside. She had been capurted by The Leveler to do as it wanted. They snuck her out and created a curse, the hard part was being able to reach the symbols to edit them. The dragon had'nt known much about magic really and when the witch had timidly offered to make the spell stronger, it agreed. The witch added the needed symbols and when the mages and knights came back to slaughter the dragon and succeeded the dragon was turned into a small cuckoo clock permanently. They took him back to one of the kingdoms and put on display for 30 years before it disapeared.

The newly cuckoo clock dragon escaped and plotted to get their revenge on the kingdoms that had caused their downfall. Getting around a place you've only ever seen from the sky....and while your destorying it is very different than being in those very streets that all the creatures walk..all the small ant like creatures. All it did was make them seeth with even more anger. The more they wandered the more confused they got and they eventually ended up at a witches house (how lucky is that) But of course when they threatened the witch if he didnt listen it was ineffective....very ineffective. Instead of kicking this angry little dragon out, he insisted they stay and learn a few things about living normally, like many other creatures do. It was very difficult for the dragon like this to learn such a lesson. The witch was patient and over time the dragonn grew fond of this witch, it took 95 years but they made it. On the witches 75th birthday they both sat in front of the house enjoying the fresh morning air, the wind chimes creating a beatiful sound. The dragon asked "what were those called again?" "wind chimes" the witch responded softly. The dragon thought to themselves "that'd be a wonderfully beautiful thing to be named after. Soon the witch had passed away and left Chime in charge of his home and that the small amount of magic he taught them would remain useful, even as the years pass on. Chime thought that their time would have came sooner the longer they stayed near the kingdoms they once tormented. So they packed up the things they wanted and traveled to all kinds of places. Trading bartering and experiencing new things that they wouldve never been able to do. Soon Chimes hatered for the kingdome died and they learned to become one with what they are now. Through out their travels they have learned quite a bit of things, such as: They cannot die by phyiscal attacks, since they are now made of wood. That also means they need to keep up with manteinence on their clock body. They dont feel much, they have a very dull sense of pain. They dont really get tired, but they sometimes crave sleep randomly it seems. Chime loves to learn new things and overall experiencing what they never have before.

Fun fact: Chime doesnt need to eat! (but loves the taste of cicadas)
