Smoliin

Raised in a clan of warriors hellbent on fighting dragonkind, Smoliin learned at a young age how to use his illusion abilities to deceive and confound. Though he respected the use of magic for combat, Smoliin's true calling was in using illusions to create beautiful sensory experiences. As he explored this other avenue of magic use, he pulled away from his home clan, and was eventually exiled for his weakness. He was stripped of his bloodline's name and cast out into the world nameless. 

He traveled in the desert for weeks. It was lonely, but it gave him the solitude needed to study the bounds of his illusion magic. While working on creating an illusory sunset, he met a mage who was also practicing dangerous magic - but he was a dragon. Smoliin was wary at first, having spent his formative years fighting dragons, but the spiral was excitable and friendly, and was eager to learn about Smoliin's magic. 

After a very eventful evening and colorful stories about the spiral's home, The Golden Fiddle Tavern, Smoliin decided to return to the Tavern with Lahaak. Lahaak introduced him to the rest of the Clan as Smoliin - passion - and after a few weeks of tension, he was accepted into the Clan. At first uncomfortable living among dragons, Smoliin quickly grew accustomed to their unusual ways of doing things and now a days can often be found doing what he loves most - napping and waiting for Lahaak to come home from practicing magic. After an early life of hustle and hardship, Smoliin values his downtime and will happily laze away days in Lahaak's bed.
