Hasty

A friendly racer is rare to see in TurboTime! Hasty is the yellow racer NPC featured in the classic racing game TurboTime, where he is decent on the racetracks. Not too fast, and not too slow. This little fella is good-mannered and can get easily nervous depending on the situation. He usually places 2nd in the races while his crush, Turbo, always places 1st. The TurboTwins usually come in 3rd and 4th, constantly bickering with both Hasty and Turbo due to their placements. Despite these issues, Hasty cares for Turbo and the twins, and always tries to get on good terms with both parties.

 Hasty is currently in situationship with the main racer, Turbo. The two constantly spend time together. Whether it's in TurboTime, or in Tapper's once Litwak's closes for the night, Turbo and Hasty are inseperable. However, both cannot seem to confess to each other despite dropping little hints. One day, Hasty will get the courage to fess up, but right now, all he's gotta do is focus on the racetrack.

Originally, Hasty was coded to be the first female playable character for TurboTime, but the developers didn't do a good job at debugging the code for Hasty. As a result, Hasty rendered in as a yellow NPC racer in TurboTime. Although merchandising for TurboTime depicting Hasty as a girl was already released, the developers decided to embrace this bug, and thus, Hasty was now referred to as a male in all future appearances. Hasty is aware of this code mishap, but embraces it as he feels comfortable presenting as masculine. The only other person that knows about this is Turbo, who is accepting of his partner.
