Lacosta

Kiida's mother, and a strict matriarch of her family. Cold and unforgiving on many occasions, Lacosta raised Kiida in her image, and much of her prickly personality carried over. Though not apparent to all, Lacosta's desire for Kiida's success stems from a desire to live vicariously through her. When Kiida does not meet this goal, especially after Kiida is lost and the village destroyed, she views her daughter as a disappointment. She carries herself with the poise of a wizened but ruthless queen, and her piercing glare is known by many. All of Kiida's physical training came from Lacosta's harsh instruction, prior to Kiida's enrolment in the academy. Though she encouraged Kiida's desire for combat, there was a lot of friction when Kiida chose archery over something more physically demanding. In Lacosta's eyes, it was a waste of her strength and potential, seeing little value in it outside of cheap parlour tricks. Her and Kiida are the most likely of the three to argue, sharing the same stubbornness and short fuse.
