Jag

Tess's familiar, named after a short form of his racing name, Jagged Lightning. Born and raised as a racing cheetah, Jag competes with Tess in countless races, winning gold in many. His bond with her is that of two best friends, Tess treating him like family almost immediately. Jag is incredibly loyal to her for this reason, and his drive to win races is as much for her as it is for him. Though much larger than your average cat (or cheetah for that matter), Jag is still very much a domestic animal. He carries his favourite cushion wherever he goes, and never turns down a scratch underneath the chin. His purring tends to echo, and he curls his tail when he's happy.
