Personality

Moon can often seem erratic to others, quick to yell and even quicker to throw punches. He's not afraid to throw his weight around to get what he wants, citing his past as the reason - he doesn't want to be powerless ever again. He rarely expands on it beyond that, at most sometimes implying he was abused in the past, but bristling when people offer him pity in response. Moon also sees himself as above everyone else, and can grow violent fast when it's implied he isn't. He spirals quickly when he's not in complete control of the situation.

Despite all this, he's extremely loyal - if he believes he owes someone, he'll do anything to fulfill that debt. On the flip side, he forms grudges quickly and extremely, often with bloody consequences.

Backstory

Before the "apocalypse", he lived with his abusive father - his mother had left almost as soon as she had had him. He was home-schooled from a young age, since his father didn't trust the education system. Although he grew up rich, he often rejected his father's money. When he was older, he started stealing his father's money to help the homeless people in the area. This lasted for a few years, until his father threatened to fire the maid, believing her to be the thief; he stepped forward, and while the maid was spared, he was severely punished for it. 

When he was around 17, he ran away from home. His original plan had been to steal more money and hide out with the people he had helped before, but the plan quickly fell apart, and he was forced to flee without the money. When he made it to the streets where he often saw his 'friends' (or the closest he had to them), he stumbled upon a shooting - he was horrified, but at the same time, he found himself wondering; as much as he hated his father, he had never considered killing him, but... what if it worked? He ended up allying himself with a local gang to avoid going back home, although he didn't have much of a higher rank there, either - he still ended up being pushed around and stepped on.

When he was 24, the world began to end - the nuclear weapons had torn up the world and the radiation had began sinking its teeth into the general populous. This was also when they found out that there was a small chance of powers forming as a result of infection; Moon joined one of the tournaments that had begun cropping up to profit off of it. He fought his way to the top, and when he won, was lucky enough to actually gain powers instead of turning into a beast. He returned first to kill his father, forcing the man to fight a beast in the same manner Moon had, before returning to his gang; only to find out that it had disbanded, save for a select few members, since most had fallen to the disease or been killed in the quickly rising violence. He remained in their old home until he met Harley.
