Dodo was born in a thunderstorm, up on the tallest mountain. Sadly, his species commonly abandons their young at birth, leaving him to survive by himself. This meant he had to stay away from predators and get his own food. Luckly the cave hollow had a roof. A few weeks after he was born he grew wings. After this he tried flying. Many failed attempts led him tumbling down the mountain, resulting in minor injuries. Although when he thought he was worthless, he told himself to not give up. Finally he got it and was able to fly. Dodo's dream was to go to space, although he knew he couldn't fly there. His species usually goes out to find a mate after the age of 118 years old (18 years for them) but when he turned 117 Dodo realized he was happy by himself in his cozy mountain. He liked to make potions and try to study zodiacs and space in general. Although time after time it did get lonely, and Dodo longed for a friend. One day Dodo ran out of a herb that was used to make a potion for life. So he flewed down the mountain in hope for the herb. To his surprise he ran into a salesman who was selling potions and herbs. Dodo looked quickly and soon saw a flower that looked exactly the one he needed, there was also potions there too. The salesman introduced himself as Zorro. Dodo bought a potion of death and the flower. But it started to rain, so Dodo quickly gave him some coins and grabbed the potion and flower and flew away. The next day at around 6 in the morning Dodo heard a knock at the door. He gave a groan and put on his morning robe and answered the door. Zorro who was looking nervous was standing there. Zorro rushed in and grabbed the potion. Zorro explained that Dodo was in such a rushed that he grabbed the wrong potion. Dodo and Zorro both laughed and Zorro gave him the right potion. After that they became great friends. Zorro usually liked to annoy dodo and then would laugh when he got mad. They also argue over stupid. things like; "sweet tea is better than unsweeted" or "milk is better in a cup than a jug". Needless to say, Dodo had gotten his wish for a friend, oh yes, did i mention he studies extinct animals?
