ABOUT
Bright and energetic, Hunter Delgado is gifted with seemingly endless creativity and enthusiasm. Hunter remains optimistic even when things seem to go bad, and whenever his older brother Marty gets into trouble, Hunter can always be found cheering him on from the sidelines. Hunter's creativity may be his secret weapon, as his world is about to get a lot crazier...!
DESIGN NOTES
Hunter's design was one of the later ones created in the pre-production stage of Brightly Burning Ether. I knew right from the get-go that he needed to take some cues from Marty's design, but also stand out on his own. Towards the end of production on the BBE teaser, Hunter got a complete redesign that rounded out his face and made him overall more adorable, which I didn't think would even be possible considering he's always been pretty dang adorable. He is the best boy, after all!
Connections
Marty Delgado Big Brother
There's nobody in the world that Hunter admires more than his big brother Marty Delgado. Marty regularly involves Hunter in anything he does and doesn't belittle him (unlike his half-brother Chris Wesker). While Hunter's parents make frequent trips out of town, Marty is sure to take care of Hunter to the best of his ability...even if that means eating cheap microwave dinners every night.
Hilda Blackwood Friend
After Marty Delgado and Hilda Blackwood split up, Hilda routinely came over to the Delgado household to check up on Hunter. Besides Marty, Hilda is the only other person that Hunter looks up to. Probably because of her influence, Hunter has picked up on her sarcasm and dry humor.
Trevor Okabe Best Friend
While their older brothers are always at odds with each other, Trevor Okabe and Hunter are the best of friends. Even though Trevor can be a bit mean-spirted sometimes, he's always loyal and supportive of Hunter whenever he needs it.
