A Tiefling Oathbraker paladin (previously Oath of Redemption). Born to a pair of human wanderers in the wastes of Xhorhas, Jericho is the reincarnation of the son of a high-ranking member of the Kryn Dynasty. Discovered and taken in by his "father" as a teenager, he has spent his life trying to redeem himself for his past life's failures (desertion, death) while proselytizing for the deity which reincarnated him; the Luxon. During his quest, a snap decision made in anger cost him his Oath-- he chose to double down, committing himself instead to oftentimes petty, self-serving, and vengeful impulse as an Oathbreaker. Now adrift and bereft of the stifling purpose which dominated his life, he is (unbeknownst to him) on a path to multiclass into a Pact of the Great Old One Warlock to find purpose once again. Grown man with daddy issues but its reciprocal :/
In the world of accession, Jericho is devout senior member of a semi-nomadic community of armed civilians known broadly as The Harvestmen, who operate in contention with the Excavation Corps (see XION and ADONAI) for resources in the strange, shifting antarctic continent known as the Southern Wastes. His non-human features are mutations from contact with the radioactive corpses of creatures called Leviathans. He sometimes carries around a blue stuffed rabbit that belonged to his missing daughter-- it has since become a comfort object for him. He has become the guardian for 15-year-old Orsa Hamergrie, and does his best by her (spoiler: it will not be enough)
