Something of an independent researcher of the occult. 

Born to a wealthy family she became obsessed with learning the truth behind her older sister's death. After her family tried to arrange a marriage for her she managed to convince them to break it off by joining the monastery where she abused her position to look into magical and demonic contraband (before it was destroyed). Eventually she was accused of being a witch and was to be burned at the stake, but managed to use her knowledge of magic to create an illusion allowing her to escape. She's roamed ever since looking into supernatural occurrences and documenting them for her own knowledge.

She's snooty, self absorbed, eats almost nothing, and doesn't wake up before noon. A master of disguise and can be pretty manipulative to get the information she needs. She doesn't mean anyone any real harm though.
