Naoki was born an only child and grew up in a rural envoirment with his mom, Misaki. Which has made him very fond of nature and animals.
This eventually also helped him get interested in astronomy. Because of how well you could always see the stars around where he lived, he
and his mom often went stargazing together at night and they generally spent alot of time outside together.
Misaki raised Naoki to be polite, studious and conscientious. She was always encouraging him and pushing him in the right direction.
They were both extremely close and have an unbreakable bond.
Though when it came to Naoki's dad, Haruto, he lived with them for the first years of Naoki's life, but because the couple had been quite
young when they had Naoki and the fact that he wasn't exactly planned... His parents eventually grew apart. While his mom was feeling
blessed and couldn't have been happier when she had Naoki-- his dad couldn't handle the responsibility in the end and things weren't working
out for this little family at all. There were alot of arguments and fights between them and eventually they realized it would be better and
healther for everyone if they just split up.
Haruto moved out and back to his old place in the city. This meant that growing up, Naoki didn't see his dad much and they ended up distant.
However, when the time came for Naoki to start High School, he made the difficult decision of moving in with his dad so he'd be able to
enroll in the school of his choice. Considering their complicated past, Naoki is very grateful his dad would still take him in.
Of course things are rather awkward between them right now.
Even if Naoki's dad is trying his hardest in his own way, he is the complete opposite of his mom. Unsure how to bond with his teenage son, he
usually ends up spoiling him with materialistic things and a ''No rules. You can do whatever you want'' kinda attitude, instead of actually
talking and spending time with him. Isn't that all a teenager would want after all?
Currently Naoki is still feeling quite lonely while struggling getting used to all these changes. He misses his old lifestyle and his mom.

Since he is quite reserved and honestly very awkward, he probably won't be the one to approach you first. Friend or stranger. This doesn't mean that he can't be a reliable and responsible person of course.
Because he is, and you can trust him with almost anything...even if he has trouble believing in you. When it comes to others he can be quite pessimistic and tends to think that if you don't expect much, you won't get disappointed either.

Similar to his pessimistic side, he's also generally very suspicious, often thinking and fearing the worst in alot of situations.
He may take alot of time before trusting you and won't trust anyone completely unless you're very very close to him, but once you are-- you couldn't get a more loyal friend than Naoki.

✿ Most often seen with an impassive face, as he has troubles showing his real emotions... Other than when he's blushing like a tomato.
Which tends to happen alot, to his strong dislike.
✿ One of the many things that could make him blush would be compliments. He just cannot handle compliments. At all.
✿ He likes the sound of a ticking clock when trying to sleep.

✿ He is actually really clumsy, but whenever he messes up, he usually acts like he isn't bothered by it all and hopes no one noticed.

bringing his books.

Kenichi - Acquaintance
His neighbour who he meets on his way to school everyday. They walk the same route, take the same train, always greeting each other
