With a wicked laugh and nails like claws, it's no wonder they call you the hyena. Kingdom fallen, loved ones buried, stories erased, humour gone. Once the jester of a royal, flourishing kingdom, they quickly became the ghost of what once was. Wandering for years, growing disheveled, finally stumbling upon the empire of the golden sun, the kingdom named Kin'yōtei. Quickly she was pulled in by the King's Consort, they became a jester once more. Will Kin'yōtei fall, just like Amakinkō, their previous kingdom did? Maybe, just maybe, they're the cause of it all.

Our situation is like some rigged card game, and the hand the universe laid out for us is made entirely of jesters; we're some cosmic joke. But maybe we don't have to fold so easily. Maybe we can keep playing the game and make kings of ourselves, in spite of it all.

Be wary of their words, the stories she paints have habit of coming true.
Jackal is the kingdom of Kin'yōtei's jester. They tell riddles, jokes, and make stories for royalty and commonfolk alike. They have the capability to subdue and enamor a crowd with their voice alone. Their stories seemingly come to life as they disrupt the soundwaves of reality. Her words, are her weapon, her blade.

✎𓂃 Riddles and Stories
Her weapon is her word. Even without using her divine art, their word is royal to the King. They have gained insurmountable trust with the King and his consort, that she's beyond reproach. However, her divine art also allows her words to become true, reality. By disturbing the soundwaves of reality, they're able to bend and warp truth at its core.
The Narrator
With this ability, any story she is sharing, telling, or recounting, can come to life. Quite literally. If they speak of a deadly famine that wipes a kingdom from existence, that plague will start to fester. Slowly at first, but over time it will become far stronger. The angrier Jackal is, the more aggressive her storytelling becomes, and therefore, the more aggressive their creations become.
The Poet
Spinning rhyming tales of love, heartbreak, and betrayal, Jackal is able to warp the emotions of those around them. All she needs to do is speak and put the emotion she's wishing to elicit behind her words. Once under her spell, they can alter the emotion as they please. It does take tremendous amounts of power for this to be held, but they have done it before.
The Cautionary Tale
This ability is quite possibly the most frightening. If Jackal reveals a story of the future and it gains enough traction; attention, it will slowly turn to truth. The more sentient beings that believe in the future spoken by her, the faster it will come to fruition. This is the only ability that relies on Jackal's crowd to decide what happens.

- She speaks in riddles, often giggling and cackling to themself when they come up with a new charade; story to tell.
- They're the ghost of a kingdom that once was, erased by an unkind deity.
Jester's Waltz - Jojo Comps
The king who let them in. Jackal appreciates and trusts Onizuka with her life. He had been the one to allow them to remain in Kin'yōtei and had set her up with funds, a job, and a home. She has a small home on some farmland, but also has a large chamber in the large gothic golden and white castle that Onizuka, Xue, and Beau also live. She hopes they can continue to perform well and entertain her King, as he slowly brings their personality back to life.
Ah, his kind face was the first she had seen when she crossed into the territory of Kin'yōtei. They remembered every word he said when they first arrived, his warm demeanour pulled her in effortlessly. He had grown on them quickly, like a damned tumour. But she can't really complain, he's been patient and understanding. He was a huge part in her rediscovering their personality and humour.
The secretive fox, Jackal doesn't see them often. Hushed whispers and sideways glances, not much more than that. Everytime she's performed in front of him, he's never laughed once. Always holding a straight face, unless he's on a mission, his personality matching the false identity he's playing for the night. She views him as her main target for her shows, without making it obvious to Onizuka and Beau. They have a need to make everyone laugh or smile, at least once. And so far? Xue hasn't delivered.
