About
Maliks grew up in House of Devils in the Cosmodrome, born 48 years before the events of Destiny 1. He was born to a Baroness and a dreg, and his mother shielded him from inheriting his fathers rank by hiding him on her ketch, though his four brothers were not quite so lucky.
After the rise of Aksis, he fled the Cosmodrome with his sister, and hid their mothers ketch on an island in Hawai'i. When he returned to Russia he found the old lairs deserted, and went with his sister to the EDZ, where he had to grovel at the feet of a baron to acquire a skiff.
Appearance
Maliks is 6'5" (195.5cm) tall, but later grows to 7'3" (221cm) tall after taking the ketch of a certain Baron after said Baron's death. He has a scar on his face set just behind the far right eye socket, and a multitude of scars on his carapace and body, the second most notable one is a large, jagged sword wound on his back. He carries four swords and a shrapnel launcher most commonly.

Backstory
Maliks was the runt of his litter, born to Baroness Priavyn, of the House of Devils. He was the only one of five final sons born to the Baroness to survive, and the only one to not be docked upon reaching five years of age. While his brothers suffered at the hands of the old ways of Eliksni life, Maliks was shielded from this by his sister, Peridys, and his mother. He grew up in Old Russia, spending a large amount of time scouring the steppes for scrap as well as fights with Guardians, many of which he came out of clean. He knows better than to accost Guardians all the time, however, which has allowed him to live to be 49 years old in Earth time.
During his time in Russia, he had actually witnessed Bunny before, though made no note of her, and assumed she was about as useful as a sword made from spinfoil. As such, upon meeting her years later in the EDZ, he had no idea that he had seen her many times before, running through the Cosmodrome. He initially decided he would use her for his own gains and then kill her himself, but quickly changed his mind when she insulted one of his rivals during a life or death gauntlet that he had forced her to participate in.
While he definitely regrets his choice to make her fight without her Light, he's pragmatic enough to know that had she been given her Light back before the gauntlet, no one would have survived either her wrath, or the wrath of Baron Salzen, the Baron he later kills to take his ketch.
After the successful wealth transfer, Maliks assumes the role of a mercenary more than a House-bound Captain, though he still maintains some level of attachment to the House of Dusk for security reasons, and to avoid being roped into Spider's hierarchy of associates. He also maintains a connection to the House in order to assist Mithrax, the Forsaken, another Captain who has been eschewing the old ways of the Houses in favor of working alongside the Guardians.
Bunny
His human-mate, the absolute love of his life, and typically his voice of reason. Although she's a stubborn human and he knows that she is very capable of killing him without putting in much effort, he often teases her about things. He dotes on her quite a bit due to her small size.
