Personality
Very quick. Misumere's personality can be described as very quick to most things really. This feisty Vaporeon is quick to become excited, quick to be happy, quick to laugh, and quick to get pouty. While he is very prone to experience a wide variety of emotions very quickly, the range at which he experiences them is limited; this means, while he may be easily excitable, his level of excited-ness stops at a certain point, not quite reaching the level that a typical person's might. This is likely because he blames himself for having caused Laurel's blindess, therefore, limits himself from fully enjoying the world how he should. Not to say that Misu doesn't love the world and the things in it, but sometimes, he'll feel that he doesn't deserve to, to atone for the crime that he committed against his own brother. Even though his older brother had never held it against him, the young Vaporeon is still coming to terms with the fact that he is forgiven. Aside from this self-inflicted punishment, Misu still acts very much like a child, not quite mature yet, but thinks he is ready for anything the world has to throw at him.

History
Misumere was very young when the incident happened.

While he doesn't remember much from their trip to Lake Valor, he knows that they don't go there a lot anymore. He also remembers not being able to see and flailing about in the water he had grown so accustomed to, but that was for a very brief period of time. With enough pestering, the young Vaporeon was able to get the whole thing out of one of his older brothers, Ethermere, who very hesitantly told the whole story: Misu had disturbed the spirit of the lake, it had blinded him, and Laurelmere had used his psychic powers to save him at the cost of his own eyes.

That was why when Misu stared into the mirror for the first time after the incident, a mismatched pair of purple-orange eyes stared back.

There's something about the idea of you, hurting your own loved one, whether it is accidental or on purpose, that affects you down to your very core. Someone you look up to, care about, and love very much was hurt by you. Did he even deserve Laurel anymore? Misu didn't think so. However, with much coaxing and soothing words (many of them from Laurel), he was slowly getting over it, no longer constantly blaming himself and locking himself up in his room for prolonged periods of time, only coming out when he was dragged out by Noirmere, who was really taking none of his shit.

Even now, however, he often cannot look Laurel in the eyes, but can't bear to be apart from his older Espeon brother, feeling a sense of responsibility and need for atonement. Even now, after 3 years since Laurel's enrollment in Mirage College, the Vapreon is keen on making his own trip to Armonia Institute in his wake.

Perhaps it'll be a good change in pace for him, and somewhere for him to learn to forgive himself.
